Tenryo Sake Cup Booth #2
●Sae Daiginjo
They said it goes well with sushi. I heard that it is served at restaurants in Niigata for 1,000 yen per glass.
I thought it was refreshing, light and dry like Niigata.
It might be the most Niigata-like sake among the ones we drank this time 🤔.
Daiginjo Premium
Made with Koshitanrei. Pineapple aroma.
Gentle, mild and luxurious taste.
They used to use Hiroshima ginjo yeast, but it didn't work well with their yeast, so now they use Niigata yeast.
Forgot to take a picture💦.
Daiginjo Premium Nama Storage Sake
Daiginjo-Premium is aged for 2 years.
It still has the same pineapple flavor, but it has a more rounded and rounded taste.
When we talked about Ouroboros, I was surprised to hear that the base sake was aged for 10 years. When the sales staff first tasted it, they were surprised at the taste, which was hard to believe that it was a kijoshu!
Nemuchi-san bought two kinds of Tenryo Sake, but I decided to stick to one 😅.
I think there are a lot of duplicates of what the salesman told me, so I have abbreviated the story, so please see Nemuchi's post for more details 😌.
I also bought some Haniu walnuts, a famous confectionery in Fukui, because they are not available in Kansai 😊.
