[The 6th drink 🍶 that I drank at Poziya. The last drink we had was this one ✨. Hakkaiyama Junmai Daiginjo Hyokushitsu Storage for 3 years. Aroma of mellow and sweet rice, soft sweetness on the palate with a gentle aftertaste and a sharp acidity that leads to a gentle spreading sweet aftertaste. Perfect for shime (Japanese rice wine). The salt content was taken away by the decomposition of alcohol, so the salt ramen with its gentle flavor and richness was just the right amount of intoxicating! [Whenever I come to Poziya, I almost always have about 6 drinks, so the number of reviews for this spot has skyrocketed 🤣.

[The 5th drink at Poziya 🍶. Next up is a first for me ✨! ICHIHAKU JUNMAME UZUNIGORI NAMAZAKE (light nigori sake) The aroma of rice with moist and heavy umami, juicy flavor and dry acidity, and the bitter taste lingering in the throat at the end. The taste and aroma go well with the spicy gizzard as a side dish. (I later found out that it was brewed using the facilities of Hata Shuzo of Daijiro, which the brewer of Nakazawa Shuzo studied when he resumed sake brewing, and that it was brewed with the facilities of Hata Shuzo when he resumed in-house production. When I checked the label carefully, it is true that the "Haku" in "Ichi Haku" does not have a dot. I gained another piece of knowledge about sake 🤣.

[This is the fourth drink 🍶 that I've had at Poziya. This one was served after the first 5 drinks were poured ✨. Takejaku Yamahai Nama-hai Nama-no-Filtered Nama-shu. The aroma of rice is a little heavy like Yamahai, the mouthfeel is heavy but the taste is clean and crisp, with a sweet aftertaste and a lingering bitterness on the palate. If the flavor is this robust, I think it would be good with spicy gizzard 🤔.

[The third drink at Poziya 🍶. Next up was this one that my dad didn't even have in his stock ✨. Hakuryu Junmai Ginjo Usu Nigori Soft, sweet, milky rice aroma, strong creamy mouthfeel with a crisp acidity, and a calm, soft aftertaste. Add more entrée 🍴. Spicy Gizzard" which was on the recommended menu, deep-fried gizzard with a lot of garlic, garlic sprouts, and curry powder on top, it had a strong aroma, so it was not a good match for sake 😅. I think it would be a great partner with beer 🍺, so next time I'll have it with beer 🥰.

Well, we stood in line again and had 6 bottles of 5 different kinds of sake, plus a service bottle, just like the recent Sentai heroes 🍶. Joyo Aizan Unfiltered Uncorked Sake The aroma is clear, but you can feel the strength of the rice, the mouthfeel is clean and clean, and the taste is sharp, with a shallow aftertaste and a lingering bitterness on the tongue, a little bit like Kyoto sake ✨. I came home late from work, so I went to Poziya for a quick drink (3). For the fifth and last drink, I found this one that I had wanted to drink for a long time 🥰. Tsururei Tokubetsu Junmai Koshi-tanrei. The aroma is almost neutral, a little like cemedine, a bit of bitterness in the throat, a gentle and mellow umami, and then it finishes with a mellow, deep and pleasant aftertaste, and finally a bitterness in the throat. It has a light and refreshing image, so it goes well with oily menma. I've had "Yukio" before, but this one is delicious too, I think they both have the same gentle umami image 🤔. After 5 glasses, I was offered a 6th glass to try 🤣. Ippongi Arabashiri. Clear rice aroma, mellow umami and dry sharpness, and a pleasant aftertaste at the end. Of course, we finished with ramen. I came home late from work, so I went to "Pojiya" for a drink. The second and third "Hagi no Tsuru Kotatsu Neko" and "Machida Shuzo Nigori" were the same as the last time, so I omitted the review. The fourth cup was this sake. Shikishima Yamadanishiki Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu with No. 8 Yeast. The aroma is heavy with rice and a little citrus, the mouthfeel is heavy with umami and acidity, then there is a lingering aroma and a lingering aftertaste that is similar to that of cypress, like a barrel sake, with a slight sweetness at the end. The last part is slightly sweet. When I drank it at an off-line meeting before, the unique aroma was evaluated to be like cardboard, but I heard later that this aroma was a problem with the equipment, but I still can't get rid of the [cardboard] feeling due to my preconceived notions 😅. The entrée was Poziya's regular ginkgo nuts and menma (pickled bamboo shoots) because I wanted something a little oily 🍴.

I usually don't get to play with my kids much, so I went to the park, library, shopping, and watched Doraemon the Movie in the movie theater for the first time today 🎥. I'll try to digest it little by little ✨. Friday night, after work, I had a meeting with a colleague to discuss the biggest focus of the year, the renewal of facilities, and it was already 10:30pm😲. Since most of the restaurants were closing, we stopped by our usual drinking ramen shop, Pojiya, and ordered a 5-sake drink comparison. First of all, let's start with the first sake! Tenmei bange yamada origarami ichibi kurazakura Tenmei" after a long time! Slightly fruity rice aroma, soft and fluffy sweetness and umami, and a lingering, full finish with minerality that lingers on the tongue. It goes well with salty food. The meaning of the name "Kurazakura" is inspired by the cherry tree planted by the brewer's grandmother when the brewer was born. The fourth picture is the beer and homemade yaki-sai that we ordered before the "5 types of sake comparison" 🍺.

The day after the very satisfying "Bishu Competition Grand Tasting," a one-day business trip to Takahama Town for this year's regular business 🚙. I had told my family that I would be home late and that I would finish dinner before going home, but I finished earlier than I had imagined, so I decided to have a light sake dinner after dinner 😁. So we decided to go to Poziya, a ramen shop that has a great selection of sake, and this time we decided to try 5 different kinds of sake ✨. The lineup was Tenmei Junmai Ginjyo Kuro Hot Sake Kyukyu Hi-iri Takachidai Niigata Prefecture Limited Junmai Sake Takejaku Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-Ginjo ICHIHONYOSHI Hatsushibori HANABE MIZUHASHITAKE Nama Sake Hanabatake Hanabatake Kanjuku Nama-zake (I got it as a free gift 😁) Now let's drink them in order 🍶. Tenmei Junmai Ginjo Kuro Hot Sake Quenching Hi-iri Full rice aroma, juicy and slightly sweet flavor, and a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. We served with Yodarechicken, salted roasted ginkgo nuts, and pickled firefly squid. The gingko nuts are especially good with the chicken. [The Yodarechicken had a very strong aroma, so beer would have been a better choice than sake, but it was absolutely delicious ✨.

[Drinking sake with ramen at Pojiya. After finishing the three different kinds of sake, my friend who was drinking with me ordered a glass of sake, and I was curious about the sake that came out, so I decided to order another one myself. Ajigasawa Yamahai Junmai Nama-junmai Nama-narashu. It has a fruity aroma with a floral ointment-like smell, a clean but juicy sweet flavor, and a sharp spiciness that lingers on the tongue and throat. First "Ajigasawa" 🎉. Aomori's "Tasake" and "Toyobai" have a sweet-tasting image, but it has a very distinctive aroma and a fresh spicy aftertaste, but it still tastes beautiful due to the abundance of melted snow 😋. I didn't realize how much effort Poziya puts into their sake 💦. Now that I've made a drunken hashigo-zake course, I'm sure I'll be a heavy drinker from now on ✨.
