Happy New Year 🎍. Let's drink lots of sake this year too. ❗️ Hirotogawa Junmai Nigori Nama Sake, Matsuzaki Shuzo Co. It's a Nigori sake. It's a shuwashu sake with a rather strong gassiness. I wonder if the carbonation neutralizes the sweetness. I prefer to drink it with the supernatant rather than the nigori. It's a delicious sake.

Sake purchased during a summer trip to Shinshu It is a junmai sake that has been cured in cedar barrels for several days. The aroma has a light, soft woody scent. The aroma is soft and light, with a hint of woodiness. I think it can be served warmed. It is a good sake for a mealtime drink.

The aroma is sweet without being overpowering, and the sweetness of the rice stands out only in Aizan. When I changed the container to a Nosaku tin kataguchi, it became less sharp but lacked interest. I prefer to drink it in glass.

Sho Shiki Sake Brewing Company - Shiga Prefecture I have never had a sake from Sho Shiki before. The alcohol content is low (13°), but it is not a light sake. It is a good sake for a meal. I felt it is made seriously.

The label is cute with penguins, turtles, whales, dolphins, sunfish, jellyfish, and other sea creatures on a blue silver background. It's been a while since I've had a bottle of packaged sake. This sake is rice juice.　It has a piquancy if you drink it cold. It gets sweeter as the temperature range goes up. I think it would go well with people who are not used to drinking sake or people who like white wine. People who like dry sake may not like it. I like it, though.
