We visited the Mikotsuru brewery in Shimosuwa-machi. We were served a blend of junmai ginjo and junmai daiginjo, a limited edition sake from the brewery. The mellow aroma and gorgeous mouthfeel are indeed Yamadanishiki. It was a wonderful bottle.

Encounter at Mr. Sandai Sawa Nakanori-san in Kiso Fukushima, Nagano Prefecture Shuwa Shuwa refreshingly sweet low-alcohol sake. Wow it's delicious - it was gone in an instant. It took me about 5 minutes to open the bottle without overflowing a drop. Slowly, slowly.

My Daughter Drove Me to Nagano Sake No. 2 Junmai Daiginjo with malic acid high productivity yeast (R yeast) developed by Nagano Prefecture. The perfect balance of sweetness and acidity makes this sake like drinking white wine. It also has a refreshing aftertaste. Perfect with meuniere of white fish. It also seems to go well with cheese.

My daughter drove me to Zenkoji Temple for a visit. We went to Nishinomon, which we had wanted to visit for a long time! When I opened the bottle, the aroma of sweet fruit wafted through the air. It is a juicy sake with a full mouthful of sweetness. It has a relatively clean aftertaste with a long aftertaste. Delicious!

Refreshing acidity and a sense of alcohol lingers in the long aftertaste. We are grateful to the people at Obata Shuzo, who brew this sake in harmony with rice, water, people, and the nature of Sado Island.
