I completed the Hida Takayama Ultra Marathon, which continues to be ⛰️⛰️ this year. 🏃. As usual, I was drinking at the Takayama drinking festival the day before. I was soaked in sake 🍶. And this year's takeaway sake was Hirata Sake Brewery's summer sake. In Takayama, where there are many classic sake, this sake is a refreshing, light, and easy-to-drink summer sake. 😋😋😋😋 By the way, Takayama is busy with inbound visitors, but the brewery asked us to do our best tomorrow, thank you very much. In March, I made a tour of four Suwa-taisha shrines, but was unable to complete the tour due to time constraints. In April, I visited the remaining shrines, Harumiya and Akimiya, and received a commemorative coin purse. ⛩️ So, I stopped by the nearby Mikotsuru again and brought back some server sake. You never know what the server sake is until you go there. This time it was dry junmai, orikarami, Miyamanishiki, not as glamorous as the Yamae Nishiki server sake, but delicious, like a super ureshi version of a classic sake. 😋😋😋😋

Purchased at Takashimaya event. Tenpyo Junmai is made from local rice and sold mainly in the local market. It tastes a bit dry, but the aftertaste is refreshing. It's perfect as a food sake. 😋😋😋😋

On May 11, I went to the brewery's 160th anniversary celebration. Traffic is quite inconvenient, but it was a great success, including backup from local people. 👍 This sake is a limited Junmai sake only for kura mihakusha. It is a great food sake with a lot of freshness while also having a great taste of rice. 😋😋😋😋 What surprised me during the brewery tour was the state-of-the-art thermal tanks with perfect temperature control in this mountain village, amazing. 🤪.

It was the first time in five years that the brewery had opened its doors to the public in the past four years. I bought a bottle last month when I visited the brewery. It was my first time visiting the brewery, and it really is a small brewery. This sake is in its second year, brewed by Jitsukazu, an apprentice toji, with new flavors while retaining the classic taste of Senpyo. 🍶🍶. Slightly dry, but with a subtle ginjo aroma and plenty of umami, it is a gentle sake. It has a slightly dry taste, but it has a subtle ginjo aroma and is full of umami and gentle. Sanewa's sake is evolving. I am looking forward to more and more. 😋😋😋😋😋

I've always wanted to try purple space, this is the first time I've had it. 🙌 It is an all-Iwate sake, with Iwate rice and yeast, and a female Nanbu Touji toji. When you open the bottle, you can smell the fresh aroma and still feel the 🍓. Then the soft umami and sweetness fills your mouth. It is delicious and will continue to grow in popularity. 😋😋😋😋😋

It was so delicious and I was so impressed that I am uploading my first outside drink in a while. The day before, I ran the Nagano Marathon🏃 again this year and dragged my sore feet to visit Togakushi Shrine ⛩️. For lunch, Togakushi is famous for soba (buckwheat noodles). Even though it was a Monday, there was a long queue at a famous restaurant. About 100 meters away from the restaurant, I was attracted by the sign of Hagakure Futabaya, adult lunch drink and Soba. I ordered Genmai, Tempura of seasonal vegetables and Soba. Genmai is the best sake, fresh and really well-balanced. It goes perfectly with the tempura of gyoja garlic, cod sprouts, and butterbur sprouts. In addition, the proprietress served us five small bowls of food as a service. I ordered my husband's secret sake, which the proprietress made me laugh when she said that he only wanted to drink it. We finished off the meal with glutinous Togakushi soba, of course. Sake and soba, we enjoyed Nagano all to the fullest. 😋😋😋😋😋

I bought this sake last month when I went on a tour of five Suwa sake breweries. I have already had Masumi, so I chose this bottle to drink at home with sake from other breweries. 🍶. It has a fresh and crisp aroma and the flavor of Omachi spreads. It is a little sweet, but it is refreshing and clear. It was a good choice for home drinking. 😋😋😋😋😋

Purchased at the end of last year. It is a winter sake, but I opened the bottle when the 🌸 was falling. The nigori will be a standard from this year. The nigori has a delicate feel like fine powder snow and a fresh, rich sweetness. Now there is no more nigori in the refrigerator. This season is followed by the "kurabiraki" (opening of the brewery) and other sake events. I am sure there will be new sake in the fridge again. 😋😋😋😋

I bought a bottle at the brewery opening in January. It is a delicious heated sake. It is a very heavy sake. The main brewery is Yamahai, so it is massive and heavy. It has a strong nigori rice flavor. It has a strong acidity at room temperature, but when heated it turns into a mellow sake. It is a very good sake.

This sake is brewed with Diamond Aizan, a sake rice for select sake stores. When the bottle is opened, it smells sweet with a fruity aroma, strawberry🍓 after all. The taste was a little sharp right after opening the bottle, but after a few days, the sweet, round, gentle flavor develops. It is delicious. 😋😋😋😋 By the way, I am going to Hida Furukawa tomorrow for the first time in 5 years for the opening of Watanabe Shuzo's brewery. I'm really looking forward to it!

It says be careful when opening the bottle, but there is a vent hole so it will not explode💥. When it comes to nigori, the first thing you notice is the supernatant. It is fresh and goes down your throat nicely. Next, the nigori is mixed in, which is sloppy and does not mix well. I couldn't wait to drink it without mixing it well. It's like a rice topping full of rice. The last gosu was heated. I guess nigori should be heated. It has a lot of flavor. 😋😋😋😋

I ran the Kyoto Marathon again this year last Sunday. 🏃. When I am running in Kyoto, the place that gets me the most excited is not Ninna-ji Temple or Watarigatsu Bridge, but in front of Matsui Sake Brewery. (LOL). 4K to go, my legs are at their limits, but the sake 🍺🍶 after the finish line is finally glimmering. I bought this sake at Isetan on the way home. They were selling it at the store and said they were out of their signature 4-goupe bottle of Ruri, so they brought this sake. This sake was also well-balanced in terms of freshness and umami, as is typical of Kamizo. I have never seen a sake with this label, but it is very tasty. 😋😋😋😋😋 .

I drank Oden🍢 Manotsuru at a restaurant and liked it so much that I was looking for it to drink at home and found it at Asano Sake Shop in Kyoto. The rice is Koshitanrei, a Niigata sake rice made from Yamadanishiki and Gojumangoku. 🌾. The taste is a combination of the best of both rice varieties, with an initial sweetness, a touch of acidity as you sip, and finally a spiciness that disappears after a few sips. It is a collaboration of the gorgeousness of Yamada-Nishiki and the dryness of Niigata. I found a sake that I like. 😋😋😋😋😋

Finally, I was able to drink Hirotogawa Nigori. If you like nigori, this is the one you really want to drink. When I opened the bottle, the sake started to rise, so I had to open and close the lid for about 5 minutes before it finally settled down. The supernatant is good enough to drink 😋. When I mixed it, I could taste the gentle umami and the rice flavor. I thought it was indeed a popular nigori sake. 😋😋😋😋

Sake from the brewery that was popular last year at the Nagano sake event, YOMOYAMA NAGANO, is now available for drinking at home. It is a small brewery run by a couple. The sake is low in alcohol, high in acidity, fruity, and very modern. It really is like wine. I think it will grow in the future. I'm sure it will grow in the future 😋😋😋😋😋.
