The lid flew off with a pop when the bottle was opened. The top aroma is like lime. When you drink it, it has a very sour and carbonated feeling. It is sweet and sour and can be drunk in large gulps. The aroma is slightly citrusy. At only 13.5 degrees Celsius, it is a perfect summer drink. It is like champagne or grapefruit juice. It is good on its own or with food.
It goes well with homemade chilled tofu with homemade cotton leeks and dried bonito flakes in ponzu sauce. I like it the best so far out of all the Koei Chrysanthemums I've had.
