This sake is made from a rare rice called Hakutsuru-nishiki. It is cool yet deep. It also smells very good. It is a very rare sake, but it is sold at my favorite restaurant and it is delicious with fish. Mellow but deep.
This sake was offered to me as a substitute when I was told there was no Tsuruling. It is indeed easy to drink and quite refreshing. It feels like it lingers in the throat. The smell is also heavy. It has a sweetness that is different from fruity.
