Souvenir of my trip to Fukui (4) Purchased at Ippongi Kuboten during my trip to Fukui 🍶. Since I welcomed the summer sake, I opened the remaining spring sake 😀. It's dry, but unlike the easy-to-drink, the alcohol content is 18%, so it's very drinkable 😀.

The first moon after the rain. The sake was clear, crisp, and absurdly easy to drink. I regret now that I didn't drink it in Fukuyama 😂. I had to have two more 🍶🍶 because there was no other locally brewed sake. The fourth one is two bottles of summer sake that we welcomed yesterday 🥰. I still have some spring sake sleeping in the fridge, so I'll have to wait to open the bottle 😅...

Shimanami - Kurashiki Travel Sake Activity 8 The sake for the end of the trip was Tsururei due to its dry taste recommendation 😀. It was supposed to be super dry, but it didn't feel too spicy, and even the bottled water felt sweet 😅. On the way back to Kurashiki the next day, I went to eat a freshly steamed Otemanju, a famous Okayama confectionery 🤣 Sake was included in the set of drinks 🤣 I chose sake without hesitation, a combination that I thought was also possible 😋. It was a great trip where I found good sake and good restaurants, including the last drink I didn't expect 😊.

Shimanami - Kurashiki Travel Sake Activities (7) The third and final bar was a Japanese sake bar. The menu is limited to alcohol (mostly sake) and bottled water, and you can bring your own food 🤣. So my wife who can't drink sake So my wife, who can't drink, retreated to the hotel 😱. They didn't have any sake from Hiroshima, so we had a favorite of one of the regulars sitting next to us. I was drunk and the second picture is blurry, so I don't know the specs 😩. I felt it was too sweet, so I went for the dry recommendation for my second glass 😊. Roses🌹 and Mount Fukuyama Castle

Shimanami - Kurashiki Travel Sake Activities (5) Moving on to the second restaurant, Tenpoichi in Fukuyama.　I thought this was the best sake I drank yesterday. Maybe it was the local effect as well... The food was delicious and the price was so cheap that my wife was surprised 😀.

Shimanami - Kurashiki Travel Sake Katsudo (4) I had a feeling I had seen this before at Sake-no-Wawa, and I recognized that I still like dry sake from the last Kido, so here it is 😋. I'm not sure if I like regular dry sake, but super dry sake is not so bad. I like dry sake, and I'm a big fan of this one. I still like dry sake and ❤️ is delicious! I'm still trying to figure out what I want to drink.

Shimanami - Kurashiki Travel Sake Activities (1) After Hiroshima-yaki and 🍺, we started our first sake session at Yokalu, a stand in front of Fukuyama Station 😀. After a long hesitation, we decided to compare Tenpouichi and Kamerei.　Tenpoichi was the second one 😁 Happo Iri Happo Seishu Irigon Yama? I found it to be delicious in this order 😊.

Commemorative 100 check-in 😁. I was torn between Kuroryu Ginpu and Kido, but I already posted Ginpu on my trip to Fukui, so I went with Kido 😀 I'm going on a trip from Shimanami to Kurashiki tomorrow, so I thought I'd drink it on my trip too 😅. This easy to drink is still delicious 😋!

Souvenirs of my trip to Fukui (3) Purchased at Yasumoto Sake Brewery The fourth one is a label that you can put on it at Fukui Sake Brewery Aruki. Rice: Fukui Prefecture Special Cultivation District Gin-no-sato Rice polishing ratio: 50 Sake degree: +4.0 Acidity: 1.7 Alcohol content: 14 Basically, the gaseous taste is bitterness, but while it has a certain amount of gaseous taste, it is so delicious that I think it is the most ☝️ delicious sake I have had recently 🥰 I can't describe how delicious it is because I have a stupid tongue, but it is not sweet and absurdly easy to drink, although I have an image that spring sake is sweet. I almost finished the whole bottle. I want to drink it after a little bit of time 😅 Hakugaku Sen is a great one, it will be my favorite 👍.

There are quite a few open bottles left, but I opened a bottle of my own spring sake while there are only a few cherry blossoms left😅. Unlike the dry Junmai I drank in Fukui, it has a stronger aroma and a much stronger sweetness at first, then a little spiciness comes later. The fourth one is a special offer at 27 breweries in Fukui, where you can get an original label and a tokkuri seal if you spend more than 1,000 yen. You can also apply for a present depending on the number of breweries you visit in the "Fukui Sake Brewery Walk", which is currently in effect until April 2026.

Trip to Fukui (8) Sake for the night of Fukui trip, we'll close with (8). I think it's Sake and Soba? I got the impression that it was very dry and easy to drink, so I decided to buy a souvenir sake, a spicy and refreshing Junmai Ginjo from Ippongi (to give away). The 4th one is a souvenir for myself that I bought at a sake brewery, I think I'll be able to open the bottle next week.

We opened a bottle of Hakugakusen, which was given to us by Gybe on a trip to Fukui. The dry sake and the elegant sweetness of the Haniage went great together 🤣. The dry sake and the elegant sweetness of the Haniage went perfectly together 🤣 It felt dryer than the sake level, and as a lover of dry sake, I was hooked 😋. Thank you once again 🙇‍♂️
