It is a local sake from Tochigi prefecture. It has been a long time since Wakakoma-san. This is the first time for me to taste 70% polished rice. Hmmm. I felt the smell of bran rather than the taste of rice.
This is probably the most nationally known brewery in the local Tochigi area. I can understand why it sells well. However, it used to have a strong and sharp aroma, but now it seems to have been polished up. It seems to have gained a calm and sophisticated taste.
It has been a long time since I last tasted Masumi. The aroma is moderate and refreshing with No. 7 yeast. It goes well with food. Nagano sake is not flashy, but it is good because you don't get tired of drinking it.
One of the recommended breweries in the local Tochigi Prefecture. We are happy to see that they have recently won awards at international competitions and their name has been selling well. The summer version is more sharp.
A fizzy, low-alcohol 12% sake. Chilled and opened on a hot day. It is a bit gassy, so hold on to drinking it for a bit after putting it in the glass. After a while, it becomes nice. You can enjoy it as much as you want.
Sake served with sushi. It was my first time in Nagano. It is not flashy but has a certain elegance. I was not tired of drinking it, so I decided to continue with it for the rest of the day.
Souhyo, a leading local sake brewery, collaborated with Ichikai-cho. The label features an image of a small hawk, a sashiba, returning to the town every year just like Tora-san. The taste is, of course, unmistakable.
Hi kawanori 😃
Sasiba🦅 is famous among bird lovers in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, where my parents lived, and there were many birdwatchers there at the time of year! Something about Tochigi sake 🍶 and sasiba returning home... it's a sake that connects to many things 🥹.
It's been a while since I've had a Mitsuo Yamakawa - or should I say, this is the first time I've had Yamagata Masamune/Mizutobe sake brewed. To be honest, I don't remember much about it, but I think the Yamagata Masamune I drank before had a smoother texture on the tongue. After opening the bottle, I let it sit for a while, but it was still as robust as before. To put it better, does it have a solid backbone?
Purchased at Mekada Sake Shop. I think Hachitan-nishiki is the best for Chochin. It is delicious ‼️ and has a deep taste. It can be served with sake alone or with food. It's good.
First time in a long time for the Kamikawa heavy snowfall. This time it was light nigori. It is delicious. It is sweet but has a sharp taste and goes well with food. It's still very good.
