Sake in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture
The aroma is rather strong, similar to whiskey 😲.
Slight sourness and sweetness with a slow rice flavor 😊.
Good sharpness, slightly dry sake 🍶.
Might be good as a food sake😊.
Unusual 300ml size😄
Aroma of rice before drinking 🌾.
The rice is very fruity and tasty 😁.
The sharpness is good and you can easily enjoy it 😆.
This is a good sake 🍶.
Purchased at a Tohoku product exhibition at a department store.
Label with strong impact😅
The rice swells up after the slight sourness is amazing.
Alcoholic feeling through the nose 🍶.
The taste of rice remains after drinking 😄.
Looks like it would go well with some spicy food😃.
It is a peculiar sake, so there are different tastes.
Also, each tank seems to have a different sake level 😅.
Aged Sake
My impression is that it is dark!
Strong impact 😄.
Not to be outdone by a fairly spicy meal😅
It's a good drink that can be drunk slowly on its own 😄.
Sake found at Yamaya.
Kamo Nishiki, famous for its packaged sake😄.
It has a slight acidity and I wouldn't say it's light and dry, but close to it?
It's a versatile all-around food sake 😁.
Moon after rain
A somewhat unusual hiragana, Ugo no tsuki
Yamada-nishiki version!
Nice aroma
Sweet from slight acidity, volume of flavor and sharpness!
Delicious 😋.
This time it was bottle #4, but next time I will repeat with a bottle! 🤣
Start drinking in the New Year with Kido😄
It is full of rice flavor with a slight sourness!
I have the impression that the goodness of the rice comes to the fore 😆.
It's a perfect sake for the New Year 🍶.
My first honored chrysanthemum...looking forward to it😊.
Opening the bottle.....Spong! A powerful sound! and the stopper hurts my hand 😓.
Carbonation beyond Wind Forest ❗️
It bubbles up when you pour it 😅tremendous amount of carbonation 😆.
Now the taste is a bit grapey...more than that, carbonation!
It's a Ramune, that's what it is.
Looks like it would be good with a little acidity 😄.
If you look closely, you can see some ori at the bottom of the bottle!
It's a living liquor 🍶.
Purchased after tasting at Keihan Department Store
I am deeply impressed that they now offer tasting... 😌.
Slight acidity and a sense of fullness from the rice 😄.
It is a well-balanced sake with sweetness and a nice sharpness 🍶.
It is also good as a food sake 😊.
I had an image of Niigata sake as being smooth, so I was betrayed in a good way!
Yumi Karahashi's family's famous Homare Sake Brewery
They happened to be at a nearby department store.
We have not seen each other since the Hankyu Umeda Brewery Festival in September 😄.
There were black and white, but I prefer the sweet white one.
The black one is a little dry, perfect for a mealtime drink 😀.
We also tasted a Junmai Daiginjo-shu made with Banshu Yamadanishiki, which is more than twice the price of the 39% polished one, but this is something else 🤩.
It was a very good sake, about 2 times higher in all status 🍶.
Now, the Junmai Daiginjo White had a sweet aroma, some bitterness, but soft sweetness and fullness of rice.
I would like to repeat this sake again!
What the hell...
Mysterious liquor found in a liquor store
Polishing ratio 90%, Edible rice, Yellow malted rice for shochu
It's so yellow when you pour it into a sake cup.
What is this😅
Because it is yellow malted rice for shochu, it smells very sweet.
Sourness is... none, sweet.
There is a very slight sourness.
It is sharp and easy to drink.
Not for drinking with food,
It is a sake to drink alone 😊.
I have always wanted to drink Nabeshima🍶.
I finally found it 👏.
Junmai Ginjo Purple Label Yamadanishiki Polishing ratio 50%.
It has a fine effervescence and a soft mouthfeel.
It is a pleasant sake with moderate volume and a cohesive feel 😄.
It has a nice sharpness, so you can easily enjoy it.
Good sake ☺️
Purchased at Hankyu Umeda, Sake Brewer's Festival.
The last of 5 bottles of sake purchased😄.
Harada has been my favorite sake for a long time: ☺️
This one is 100% Yamada-Nishiki, though many of the breweries are from Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the Saito Shizuku is 100% Yamada-Nishiki.
Of course, all Yamaguchi.
I lived in Yamaguchi prefecture for about 3 years, and it is a very tasty place for rice and vegetables.
I wonder if the water is good.
Well, the sake has a good balance of moderate acidity, umami, and sweetness 😄.
It has a refreshing green apple-like flavor.
It can be drunk with or without food.
A bottle purchased at the Hankyu Umeda Brewery Festival
Daimon Sake Brewery has a brewery in Katano, Osaka.
I tasted this sake at the brewer's festival and liked it the best 😄.
It has a consistent soft sweet fullness from the first sip to the last 😊.
It is the perfect sake for long autumn nights 🍶.
Purchased at the Hankyu Umeda Brewery Festival
The aroma is sweet ginjo aroma😊.
Pleasant acidity and little alcohol.
Gentle sweetness and good sharpness!
You can drink it easily 🤭.
It is said to be inspired by the bewitching Aizu Bijin, and I think I'm going to get hooked on it just as the brewer intended 😅.
Tasting and purchasing at the Hankyu Umeda Brewery Festival
Kawatsuru Sake Brewery, which I only knew as Sanuki Kuraudai💦.
This sake is made from contract-cultivated Yamada-Nishiki.
The sake is made in the Tanozaki district, hence the name Tanozaki.
Slightly acidic and sweet on the palate, with a slight bitterness that gives it a refreshing taste 😊.
It is my favorite type of sake 🍶.
One of the ones I got at the Hankyu Umeda brewery festival.
First Unzan, red in color (there were a lot of them, like blue).
The aroma is subdued, but the mouthfeel is not sour, and the volume that pushes in from mildly fruity is amazing!
The alcohol is pleasant to the nose 😊.
This is delicious (^^)
Grain crusher Polished 22%‼️
Bargain price as usual 4444 yen (excl. tax) or less😅
I bet other breweries would charge tens of thousands of yen...
Gorgeous aroma, just enough acidity to slightly tickle the tip of the tongue.
Fruity but dry feeling.
Delicious.
Common during Obon season? Sake we received
Red. Wine color. There is no description, but it is probably junmai sake^^;.
I was a little excited to see the words "technical guidance from Tokyo University of Agriculture".
First, it was served at room temperature.
The aroma is sweet, and the taste is... sweet and sour or sweet.
The alcohol content is a bit much for the degree (14%), but the sweetness comes forward and tastes similar to ume (plum) wine.
Next, we will have it cold.
Well... let's see how it changes...
Also, a few hours will add (^^)
A few days to add (-...;)
When drunk cold, the sweetness is a little lessened, and the balance is good! I can drink it quite smoothly.
I recommend drinking it cold.
Is it a challenge to "follow two hares and catch no hares"?
The label says
He who runs after two hares will catch neither.
Taste and aroma, acid and flavor, heavy and light, sweet and spicy, entry and exit, complex and clean. We made it so that the two contradictory tastes would be in the best balance.
The name of the brewery is "Koto".
The aroma is sweet and fruity.
Slightly acidic and slightly fruity on the palate, with no cloying taste, and a volume that comes later.
I think you are getting more than three rabbits!
It is a sake to be savored slowly by itself (^^)
