This is a sake from Hokkaido.
It has a dry taste and is excellent as a mid-meal drink.
It is best served at room temperature, but I prefer it warmed up.
Today's dinner is oden, so we decided to drink Tobiroki. When it's on the internet, it costs tens of thousands of yen, but I bought it at cost at a certain liquor store. I think it's about 1,700 yen.
First impact, hmm? Water? It has a slightly dry taste, but it is too easy to drink. The sweetness is not too strong, so it is easy to drink too much.
If I wanted to, I would have liked to have had more of a habit. I think, but I found another great sake!
I've had Yokoyama Gold before (^^^;)
This is a Daiginjo, so it's easy to drink, but I think the Silver one is more like Yokoyama. Well, it doesn't change my favorite brand, but I want to keep drinking Yokoyama from now on!
The second one I tasted was Yokoyama.
This is my favorite sake as much as Jikon, and I've been interested in this brewery since I was still Yokoyama Iju.
It is easy to drink because it has a sweetness to it, because it was made after drinking Tsururei. It is 16% alcohol, but it has sweetness and a bit of fizziness, and it is easy to drink.
This is a good sake for both men and women.
Our first sake of the day is Tsuru-age! I bought this because everyone said it was delicious.
It's sooooo easy to drink despite being 17 degrees alcohol! It has a good sweetness in the right amount, so people drink it with a gulp.
I drink it with a small cup, but be careful not to drink too much. It seems to regret it later.
Oze snow thaw purchased at Hasegawa Liquor Store! This is my first Gunma sake.
And yet, I got caught up in the limited edition and bought this one.
The taste is sweet all the way through! Sweet as a noble brew! It's rare for a wine to be this sweet.
It's a rosé, but it doesn't have a rose-like flavor, and as the description says, it definitely tastes like raspberries.
I think women will be pleased with this one.
Today's drink of the evening is the first Kuroryu.
I have been interested in this sake since the beginning, so I am very happy to drink it.
The taste is very easy to drink, fruity and you can taste the deliciousness of the rice.
It is very easy to drink and you can feel the deliciousness of the rice. This is the one that goes with just about anything.
I enjoyed the Pink Label last time, so I bought this one this time. I was actually hoping to buy the Nouveau Junmai Special Junmai Genshu, but it was sold out.
I was right to try this one as well.
Even though it was unpasteurized, it was very easy to drink, fruity and slightly fizzy, and I drank almost all 720ml of it in one night. However, I drank it without a chaser and the price of drinking it without a chaser was that I had no memory of the night and had a terrible hangover. That's why beginners are no good at this.
I ended up drinking after all...(^^^;)
Dai-Shinshu! They're known for their dryness, but the gasiness is amazing once you open the bottle! I think it has more than Shinsei.
Well, it feels dry in the mouth because of the gasiness, but the aftertaste is refreshing to drink.
This is a bit too light for me to drink, so I'll drink a third of it before quitting. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will change later on.
The second bottle I tasted was Takachiyo.
The alcohol content is a little high and a little tingly since it's unpasteurized, but since we just opened this one, it's also very gassy, and I wonder how it will change once it's settled. And I'm looking forward to it.
The mouthfeel is a little thick and sweet and the alcohol is very strong. But it is a sake that makes me want to drink it again!
The first sake of today is Manjusen.
I drank a couple of cups with the choko. As it was just opened, I didn't feel the gasiness and the fruity taste was not so good.
The description said it had an apple-like flavor, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it will change in the future.
This sake was made by Takayama, a famous shochu brewer.
It is said to have been made with the help of the fourteenth brewer.
It has a refreshing, lychee like sweetness on the palate and finishes off dryly and refreshingly.
I had it today at a certain kaiten sushi restaurant.
Just as I drank a bottle of Iso-Junjo Honjozo before and it didn't match, I drank a bottle of Honjozo this time, too, and I got nauseated (>_<).
Why doesn't brewed alcohol go with it? I could drink the main round of the fourteenth generation~. I wish I could do it again.
Sawaya Matsumoto kocon
It's 13% alcohol, so I can gulp it down and honestly, I don't remember much about it (^^^^;).
To be honest, I don't remember much about it.
We haven't opened the bottle yet for this one, but I just wanted to check in to let you all know.
This is their first sake since they moved their brewery to Matsumoto, and apparently their last.
You should buy it as soon as possible. I'd like to check in again when it opens up again.
This brewer's kuheiji is a sake I had before.
It's made with 50% Yamada Nishiki and was made with the aim of making the ultimate food sakes, so it's not fruity, but it's a refreshing sake that brings out the flavors of the food.
I would like to try other kinds of sake next time!
I bought this because a woman I know wanted to try a sparkling sake.
This - it's insanely delicious! I wanted to try it myself so I bought it again.
Hmmm... It's definitely fruity and the crispy taste is indescribable. I'd like to drink this for Christmas too!
There are many high quality sake shops in Kudokudai.
This one was 4,400 yen for a bottle of sake too, I think. If you look at the percentage of rice that's been milled, it's probably cheap. A whopping 29%!
This is a very tasty bottle with a great balance of spiciness and sweetness.
If it weren't for the 14yo in Yamagata Prefecture, it would definitely be the number one drink!
This is also the Senjotori I drank before.
This was my first Sentry and I bought it on the recommendation of the shop owner.
It went in quickly at first and was lychee? It has a sweet taste like a "peach" and a crisp, spicy finish.
But this Sentry has a different taste as the days go by. At first, it tastes like lychee and pear, but when I drank it three days later, I was surprised to find that it tasted like green apples to me, which made it even better.
This is also a Mimurosugi which I drank before.
The first time I bought Mimurosugi was this Dewha style Daiginjo.
It has a slightly bitter taste, but it has a fruity taste afterwards and a crisp, spicy taste that makes it easy to drink. It's a very well balanced sake.
I would definitely recommend this one to everyone.
