This is delicious 😋. It goes well with rice! I am still preferring Junmai these days 🍶. The clean water that doesn't interfere with anything, the crisp, clear taste, and the subtle sweetness make it very easy to drink. It goes well with any meal. It was a delicious sake that sinks in even after sweating it out at a gutsy dance 🍶.

Isn't it time for the weather to cool down? The days are still as hot as ever. This day was the Nebuta Festival in Sakurashinmachi! As usual, we started out with a drink at our house🍶. Our friend brought us this sake 💁. It's called "innocent50" 🍶. It has a little bit of ginjo aroma with the same level of polishing as a daiginjo. It has a sweet and smooth texture. I felt something like the rough richness of rice. I drank 60 before, but it was sweeter than that. The weather was a little better this year due to cloudy skies, but I'm still sweating and splashing around 🪽. It was a good time to get rid of the daily frustration with loud voices and jumps!

Summer is coming to an end and the nights are getting cooler. However, the hot days are still continuing. I bought a lot of fireworks this year, but I missed the timing to do it... The nights are getting cooler, so it looks like it's time to start. That's why I bought "sparklers" 🍶. This sake is very refreshing and goes very well with the hot weather after the typhoon! I have put it to bed for a long time. This is Ichinoya's Ryusuisen low-alcohol series. It is 13 degrees Celsius, but the first time it is opened, the bottle is opened with a lot of energy 😁. A sweet aroma wafts through the air. It is slightly effervescent and stimulating on the tongue, with a refreshing and exotic cedar aroma that wafts into the nose. I bought this 💁 at a roadside station when I went back to my parents' house at the end of summer vacation. Sandesi size is good for a light challenge🙆 Satsuma-age as a side dish. At first I thought it was like clear water and had no characteristics, but the aftertaste was rich and sharp. I wonder if it is considered dry. It is refreshing and good for a mid-meal drink 🆗. It went perfectly with the bonito tataki we had the next day instead of this Satsuma-age 👌 Good, good 🍶.

Today, I brought back something from my trip back home. Kita Sake Brewery🍶. There are three old temples called "Koto Sanzan" in Koto, the eastern side of Lake Biwa. All of them have beautiful and fantastic gardens. It is too hot in summer, so I would like to visit them during the season of autumn leaves. At one of these temples, a jar that was made 444 years ago was excavated and used to make sake. The taste is said to be like mirin (sweet sake), so it was arranged in a modern way. The red seal label adds to the atmosphere! And the taste is delicious! It's a nama-zake version with a rich and thick flavor. The sweetness is not harsh and has a nice sharpness. Well, on the last day, we went to "La Collina" in Taneya. The back view of grandma and daughter holding hands is very soothing 🥰.

Continuing with the return trip home. Continuing with Laughing Four Seasons: 💁‍♀️ The yeast is from their own brewery. It tastes like a clear white grape. The gorgeous aroma that passes through the nose and the soft taste that spreads in the mouth can be fully enjoyed on its own. Sweet but with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste 🤏. It is a delicious sake 🍶. Well, I was going to go to the river yesterday, but unfortunately, the water was swollen after the rain, so I postponed it to today because I was busy with other things... Eigenji has very nice and clean water, but it is prohibited to go to amusement parks... The children could not give up and went to Lake Biwa! We went to the vacation village... The water was only waist-high when we got to the buoys, and it felt like a heated pool in the late afternoon. Still, we were able to enjoy the summer even if it was only for a short time. ☀️

I couldn't go home for Obon, so I came back just in time for summer vacation. ☀️ Well, I went to a local liquor store to examine the sake 🍶. It's not a Shiga sake, but since I'm in the Kansai region, I can easily get Kaze no Mori! I'm so glad! There are many brands, but I chose this one 💁. My wife loves Omachi, so we chose this one: 💁‍♀️ The aroma is gorgeous, and the bottle opens with a splash 🫧. The bubbles are bubbly, and the crisp start touches the tongue. Slight taste of banana and a mild sweetness 🙆🙆 followed by a crisp and clear finish. It's the best 😊. It's soooo good 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. When I go back to Shiga, I can't miss Omi beef 🐃. I heard it was given as a gift, so I had the meat wrapped very carefully and served it in sukiyaki! It's really good 😋!

I bought this sake in Tochigi. I can't read the brand name for a minute... Sorry. This yellowish natural brew is light and dry. It is a dialogue with nature. It is a sake that goes well with food 🍶. My son made pasta today for a school project. Basil pasta for the parents 🌿. Pasta with cod roe for the kids 🍝. Ours was very well done and delicious! I was looking at them sideways wondering if it was ok because they made theirs with much less sauce, but sure enough, they said "Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I heard it was "too much! I had to adjust the seasoning to make it right. Failure is the source of success. ☺️ It's worth it to try your best to make it!

It's been a hot day. ☀️ I went to my neighbor's house to get some shiso leaves for lunch, and we decided to have a tea party in the evening. The next one is here 💁. Shinshu Kamerei" Yamae Nishiki 🍶. Holder with a fizzy sensation that you can feel slightly on the tip of your tongue! The sweetness is moderate, but still, it is a sake that is easy to drink like clear water 😆. I wondered if it would go well with sashimi since it is a sweet sake 🙆. The fish was processed in large pieces 🐟 delicious! The duck wasabi was also delicious with a soy sauce jus! It was a delicious dinner!

The kids are out of town today for summer camp: 🏕️ It's really rare for a couple to have some time together, so we left work early and went to the store for a drink 🍶. Next up was a Kijo sake from "Senkori" 🍶. Finally, we had this for dessert 💁. Before this, I had a little bit of Shinmasa's Kijoshu Amaneko Kai, which another person asked for, and it was 100% polished rice ⁉️ For a moment, I didn't understand what the description meant, but I was surprised twice: first, it was not polished at all! Despite this, it tasted great! Now, this one is no slouch either! The mellow richness is further emphasized and the aroma lingers on the tongue. I didn't like kijo-zake so much, but the two big ones were different from each other.

The next one is "Yamori" 🍶. I had been curious about this restaurant through your posts for some time, and I was able to meet you 🫶. After reflecting on my previous visit, I requested a junmai type sake to go with the food. This was recommended to me, and it is outstandingly delicious! It has a rich and mellow umami with a piquancy and a deep flavor! The slight acidity that lingers on the palate leaves a clean aftertaste. It goes perfectly with both meat and rice 😊.
