☆☆☆☆☆ Finally, the first Jyushiyo. And with Tobiroki! I wonder if I can afford such a luxury (lol). My junior was able to buy a bottle of Jyushiro and myself a bottle of Hiroki, so we decided to share and sample each other's sake based on a gentleman's agreement. It was a complex sake with a taste that transcended everything, neither sweet nor spicy, but rather a fruity, shwashy, body-penetrating type. At this level, I found it to be a matter of taste. I wondered if it would grow again after a few days, but by the second day the schwashiness had subsided and the taste changed to a melon-like flavor. It loses its freshness, but I still like it better after it settles down. Jyushidai is too strong and complex, so of course it is good, but it would be more interesting to drink it after getting to know various kinds of sakes. I was impressed like when I had a chance to eat a high-class yakiniku (barbeque) after earning a certain amount of money on my own. If you drink this when you are young, you will want to seek out sake of this level, and you will probably not be able to get this impression unless you drink a lot of sake. I gave it a score of 91 points.

☆☆☆☆☆ New Ilya Thornton from Sogapert Efis I stopped by my usual liquor store and they have Sogapert? Never seen that name before. Thank you very much. I heard it's a new one this year. There is no night that does not dawn, and no rain that does not fall. Exactly 100 years ago, mankind was going through a pandemic. Sake production technology was also in the midst of upheaval. Various thoughts crossed our minds when we thought of sake "100 years ago. Mixed fermentation of No.1 and No.2 yeast. 100% Miyamanishiki produced in Nagano Prefecture Polishing ratio 59 Alcohol 15%. It is also delicious. Sogapale is a great sake. It is a sibling of Sake Erotic. The sweetness and aroma are less than that of Erotic, but the umami is more pronounced. It is so delicious that I am scared. This is a sake to be enjoyed on its own. Definitely better than the famous Daiginjos. It soaks into the body and has a sharp aftertaste, but it also has a lingering aftertaste. I scored it 93 points on my own.

It has a strong aftertaste that is unique to Hanasoui with a good sharpness and moderate acidity.
