This sake is stored in wine barrels. I was told that Katsunuma Brewery's wine barrels were used, and having visited their winery, I had to buy this! I had visited the Katsunuma Brewery, so I had to buy it! The aroma is mild. Color is slightly yellow Taste is clean and refreshing, with a slight bitterness afterward. The aroma and flavor of wine barrels was not clear to me ๐Ÿ˜…. But the initiative of storing in wine barrels is great โœจ.

I bought Morishima's Omachi because I wanted to drink Omachiโœจ. The aroma is mild and the color is yellow. It has a fizzy and foamy feeling that you can feel when you open the bottle, both visually and on the palate! The taste was sweet and fresh without any peculiarities!

Wooden Oke Seriesโœจ The aroma of this sake was yogurt, so I thought it didn't smell like a wooden vat, but the moment I took a sip, the aroma of wooden cedar wood swelled in my mouth and passed into my noseโœจ. The color is yellow. The taste is crisp. At first there was a slight umami, a woodiness, a yogurt-like sourness, and a slight bitterness at the end, but it was only slight, and the whole thing tasted crisp and easy to drink. The crisp, light flavor makes you want to drink it in large gulps๐Ÿ˜…. The sake is made from 90% low-polishing Kame-no-o and Domaine Sakura sake rice, and is made in the traditional way!

I bought it because I was curious about the term "wine yeast" ๐Ÿ‡. The color is yellow with fine bubbles. The aroma is highly fresh and muscat-like. The taste is sour and gassy, with just a hint of grape-like sweetness later. It was a highly acidic sake!

Saku's Omachiโœจ for the 3rd year in a row! My #1 sake again this year ๐Ÿ˜. This year, it started out clean and a little bitter in the middle, but a gorgeous fruity sweetness swelled through it. The color is faintly yellowish. It smelled fruity like grapes even without pouring it into a glass and putting my nose close to it! It seemed more refreshing than in previous years, and it slurps up nicely! It was delicious again this year๐Ÿ‘

I want to drink a variety of wooden vat brews, so another wooden vat series โœจ. This time it's a sake that sticks to the traditional brewing method as it's a nama yeast yeast โœจ The aroma is slightly woody. The color is slightly yellow. The moment I put it in my mouth, the woody aroma spread to my mouth and passed through to my nose. There is a shwashiness that makes the cork fly off the bottle. The taste is clean, with a slight bitterness and sharpness.

Commemorative sake for the opening of Hokuriku Shinkansen line in Fukui๐Ÿถ. Sake produced by Kenchi Tachibana of EXILE. It is packaged in the color of Hokuriku Shinkansen! It seems to be available only in Fukui Prefecture, but I drank it as a giftโœจ. The aroma is of cedar wood and the color is slightly yellow. It has no peculiarities and is very easy to drink! We enjoyed it ๐Ÿ˜.

I enjoyed the Junmai Ginjo from this Mokke series so much that I bought the Junmai Sake as well! The Junmai Ginjo was sweet and fruity in taste and aroma, but this one had the aroma of the wooden vat and tasted sour at first and then more umami later! The color is slightly yellow. The Junmai Ginjo is made with Yamadanishiki, and this one is made with Hinohikari, a rice that is also eaten for food, so it is hard to make a simple comparison, but both had their own distinct tastesโœจ. The acidity wasn't too strong, and the flavor was delicious, just like a junmai sake ๐Ÿถ.

I was looking for a sake brewed in a wooden vat. From the moment you open the bottle, you can smell the grape-like ginjo aroma and it is a highly aromatic sakeโœจ. The color is slightly yellow. The mouthfeel is a bit mellow and mild at first, but later you can feel a bit of the tingling sensation of the raw sake. It is a very sweet and fruity sake with very little cloying taste! This is deliciousโœจ I hope there will be more sake brewed in wooden vats!
