Sake made with pesticide-free rice from Nishi-Minowa.
The rice polishing ratio is a confident 91%! Although the rice is barely milled, it has a delicious rice flavor and aroma rather than a bran smell. If you are a little off, it might taste too rich and undrinkable, but it is so good that you can keep drinking it. It is not a sake to be drunk smoothly, but to be savored.
I thought it was dry at first sip, but as I drank more and more, I felt nothing but umami.
Drunken Whale, you have changed compared to 10 years ago. It is delicious!
It has a nice aroma, and at the moment of drinking it, it feels sweet. It soon becomes tangy and dry. After drinking, the sweet aroma leaves a pleasant impression on the nose. I would like to repeat this sake.
It has a slightly sour and pungent taste, but the aroma through the nose is sweet and refreshing. It is a bit carbonated, or maybe it is, and there is a popping sound when the cap is opened.
As it says, "gorgeous, refreshing, and chilled." The first mouth feel is like water, but then there is a spiciness, and after drinking, the aroma escapes into the nose.
It is truly a "jozen nyosui.
