Last year I chilled this sake in the refrigerator before drinking it, but we don't have a microwave oven, so this year I drank it at room temperature and the spiciness and mellowness hit me! It was delicious! I used to think that sake should only be drunk chilled, but it is delicious lukewarm too 😋.
Local sake from Mino, the "udatsu-lined town. The label is wrapped in Mino washi, a local specialty. I thought the reading was "Momoharu," but it was "Hyakushun. I have just learned that the word "卯atsu" is written "卯つ".
It has a gorgeous sweetness that is typical of junmai daiginjo. It has a refreshing aftertaste and does not burn the stomach.
We happened to get a fantastic sake that is only available at three stores in Gifu Prefecture. You'll have to find out where you can get it❗.
It's sweet and thick as the specs say, but it goes down your throat like juice and is my favorite type 😋🍶.
It was described as "a light junmai sake with low acidity," but the flavor chart said it was rich and spicy (I thought so too). Isn't light and rich a contradiction? 😅
Toko is still very strong ❗This is the ultimate ❗It sharply cuts your throat and hotly burns your stomach. It really is like a distilled liquor. But you can taste the rice on the tip of the tongue at first 😋🍶.
Delicious with ice cubes!" As stated above, it looks delicious for use in shaved ice syrup. Drinking on its own, it has a light and refreshing flavor that is hard to believe it is sake.
It's supposed to be thick and high in alcohol content, but it's just like juice on the palate, down the throat, and in the aftertaste. It is very drinkable 😋🍶.
