Drinking outside after work. My wife was off work and we decided to have dinner outside. We found this restaurant in the vicinity of Nara Station - ‼️ We couldn't find a good time to drink at Toyoshuku, so we went to this restaurant and had a glass of Nara's local sake, Shirotoroku (‼️). The aroma was gorgeous, the taste was smooth and sweet on the palate, and the finish was refreshing.

Today is my day off, so I took a walk around Sunpu Castle, Kunouzan Toshogu Shrine, and Nihon Taira! I've always wanted to visit Kunouzan and Nihondaira, but the view of the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Fuji from Nihondaira is fantastic👍. On the way home, I took a sip. When I opened the bottle, it had a melon-like aroma. The mouthfeel is refreshing, but the melon-like sweet and astringent taste comes through in a jiffy, giving it a gorgeous flavor. However, the assertion itself gradually settles down and changes to a spiciness, so it is not too heavy for a nama-zake and is easy to drink! Tomorrow is the second half of Shizuoka life. I'll do my best!

Fourth round of drinks with Go-ni-Go-san. Amanurin Tokubetsu Junmai Sake Limited Bottle Enclosure This is also my first time to drink Mie sake! I chose only sake from Tokai region😅. This seems to be a regular sake of Amanurin! After bottling, the sake is matured slowly in the brewery. Mellow and full-flavored with a lot of umami!

The rice used is Comet from Hokkaido. You can't ignore the sake made with Hokkaido rice, can you? It has a clear and refreshing taste typical of Comet. Then, Urasato's Jungin ‼️ Last time I drank Jun-Dai and it was delicious, so I had high expectations 😋. The hyenas were using beer as a chaser, which seemed to slow them down, but this is where the true spirit of hyenas comes in 😱. I can't really tell the difference compared to the pure Dai 😅. The seventh sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture. Hirano Brewery's main brand in Yamato-cho, Gujo City. Purchased at a roadside station in Gujo Yamato. It can be found at most liquor stores and restaurants in Gujo City. The aroma is apple-like. It has a strong sweetness and is easy to drink.

The sake that Rafa ordered. I exchanged it for the sake I ordered and drank some. The rice is said to be modified Nobukou. Unlike the straight kumi-style sake, it is calm and has a mild sweetness. It is more like a classic sake. The official website says it is about -7, so I think it is more on the sweet side. If you think of it as the standard sake of the brewery, it is quite high. It seems that Rafa has a connection with Satte City, where Toyoake's brewery is located, and I thought such an episode was interesting.

Toyoake in Satte, Saitama Prefecture. When I tasted it last week at Koedo Kurasato in Kawagoe, I felt its obvious individuality and immediately bought a 4-goupe bottle because I wanted to drink it at home. It is a fire-aged junmai sake with a slightly sweet, dark flavor and a modern acidity. It has character. The subtitle and the message on the back label are also good. The waka poem written on the box? on the box is also nice. The slight coloring is due to the limited amount of charcoal used in the filtration process.

Sake tasted and purchased on the way home from a BBQ at Wakata's house This sake is a first of its kind, brewed with low glutelin and low amylose LGC Soft rice and a new yeast, Ka8. Ka8 yeast is said to be a yeast that makes sake difficult to age. It has a 4 mp flavor like muscat and melon. It also has a white wine-like flavor. The higher the temperature, the sweeter it tastes.
