My wife has a slight taste disorder, but since she couldn't spend time at her parents' house 😊, we treated her to another New Year's meal 🎍. The wine to go with it was "Kyo no Hana" purchased at our favorite liquor store in Kushiro, Sagajo Shoten. I was torn between this and "Tatsusen" brewed by the same brewery, neither of which I had ever tasted before, but I chose this one because of the "fantastic rice" description 😊. Kyo no Hana No.1! There really are a lot of different sake rice varieties available: ‼️ It has a sharpness that is typical of Fukushima sake, but at the same time, it has a moist and gradually delicious flavor 😋.

I bought it at a sake shop in Kintetsu Department Store. I can't read "mother-of-pearl" 🤣I heard it is read as "Uzume", but if you type "den" for mother-of-pearl in your phone, it will come up 😁. If I lived a normal life, I would never use this kanji 😅. I got the impression it's a pineapple with a bit of bitterness 🍍. This one is also insanely delicious! I've been drinking a lot of Omachi sake lately, and I wonder if this complex and thick sweet flavor is a characteristic of Omachi.
