This is the Aino-sato Junmai-shu from Nanyo Jozo, which is famous for Hanayo-yoku. It's a delicious sake with a good balance of umami and sourness, like a fresh apple. It's delicious 😋 and the price is good too. The price is 1320 yen for a four-pack.

Is this a local brand of the same brewery as Hanayo-yoku? The rice is said to be Gohyakumangoku. It's a completely different brew, but it's refreshing and has a gorgeous taste. I had an image of it being classical and hard to drink, but it's a modern sake with impressive acidity. The one I drank recently that is similar is GOGO Gohashi. Gohashi has a muscat-like atmosphere, and this one has a green apple-like atmosphere.

Today I met my wife's brother for the first time in several years and had a drink outside. We went to a nearby restaurant that boasts sake and is famous for its pork shabu-shabu and oden. We had an all-you-can-drink policy, so this was the only sake we could drink, but we had a very pleasant time. It was the first time for me to drink Bikuyo. Arriving at the station nearest to the Biwako Hotel where the event was held, I had some time to kill so I went to a ramen restaurant produced by Minoru Sano, who is known as the devil of ingredients in the ramen industry, to get some food for my stomach. After the event, I visited a liquor store in Kusatsu and told them I went to a Shiga sake event in Otsu, and the owner of the store was there too. According to the information from the liquor store, a liquor store that had Suzu Masamune in stock had given it to him for the event. He said that the sake was well preserved and had been aged for about 5 years.

I had never seen this brand before, so I couldn't resist buying it. This is a sake brewery in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. There are about 1,400 sake breweries in Japan, so it's no wonder that there are breweries and brands that I don't know (there are more than 1,000 here). Even if I were to drink one brand every day for the rest of my life, it would take me almost 30 years (^_^;) It's simply impossible. This was an aside. The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma is distinctive. I wonder what it is, is it the aroma of rice? In total, the aroma is fluffy, the taste is tangy, and the sweetness is warm. I think it's delicious.
