At home. Osaka Kawachinagano Amano Sake, the first time I️ had this sake. This brewery is located on Koya Kaido, and the surrounding area has a nice atmosphere. It was my first time to visit there, but it must be a famous place. The taste was quite dry, and it was a taste for adults.

100% Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture, with wine yeast. It is said that the name "Sora no Tsuru" comes from a dream of riding a beautiful "crane" soaring in the sky. Wine yeast is great because it makes rice sweet and sour! The top aroma is of grappa and rum raisins. When swirled, it smells of plum. The flavor is very sweet and sour, like plum wine. The color is a pale yellowish hue like lemon pulp, the legs are short and weak.

It is a sake from Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is only available directly in the city, and there are only a limited number of stores where you can drink it. I found it at a store selling Hyogo products in Kobe Hankyu in Sannomiya and bought it. How does it taste? It does not have the harshness of the original sake. It has a chocolate-like aroma. It has a rich sweetness, with spiciness and astringency chasing after it. The chocolatey and caramel-like aroma that passes through the nose is delightful. If you let it air a little, it becomes more brightly sweet and fragrant. It is simple, but quite flamboyant. How about if you heat it up? It tastes like chestnuts and is easy to drink! The spiciness that comes out volatilely and the refreshing sweetness that comes in quickly. It has a rich and expressive taste. It is really good. The aftertaste is also refreshing and sharp with a nice sweetness. I think it is especially good when heated. I have now completed a round of the 70-odd breweries in Hyogo Prefecture (and have 300 reports to my name)! It took me two years to complete this feat. It was a long but enjoyable journey. I will continue to enjoy Hyogo sake (and Fukui sake as well) slowly and carefully, and hope to one day become an evangelist for good Hyogo sake...

a gift It was the first time I had ever had a fresh one in Honjozo. The mouthfeel is like mint? I've never had it before, but it's interesting. I think it leaves a little bit of a cloying taste at the end.

I was wondering why there was only one bottle left at the store, but I was curious, and I was going to buy one bottle of Eikoh, but I picked it up. It's sweet but easy to drink ☺️.

Hanashoku Junmai Daiginjo Betsuatsurae The aroma is like grapes with a hint of sourness, the mouthfeel is clean and sweet with a pleasant aftertaste, and there is a lingering bitterness in the back of the throat. I bought some salted sea urchin, which is a perfect match for sake, but is usually hard to find. The taste was so agonizing that it made me want to drink more sake. I think if I recommend [salted sea urchin] to people outside of the prefecture, they will be puzzled how to eat it 🤔.

This month we had a lot of drinking outside, so it's been a while since I've had a drink at home! I got a bottle of summer sake "Kashoku", which is rarely seen even in my hometown, because there was some left at the liquor store! The mouthfeel is sweet with a refreshing acidity, and the mellow aroma lingers until the end. It seems that more emphasis is placed on the mellow aroma than on the refreshing taste! Although it is a summer sake, it is a perfect bottle for long nights in autumn. I felt it has the potential to be as good as many dishes in the autumn season of taste.

Takatsugawa is an everyday sake from Shimane's Fusozuru. Full-bodied and full of flavor when cold. Warmed up, it is a warm and mild sake. It goes well with solid everyday dishes and can also be drunk with oshiruko (soup stock). It is a soft, matured sake with a low price, and I love its mellow, umami taste.

Suddenly my tooth was not feeling well and I had to go to the dentist in a hurry. This time there was no anesthesia and no pain, so I went to an event at the Hanshin Department Store that was being held. I bought my favorite Japanese sweets at the event and drank sake to go with them. The wagashi I chose was an easy-to-eat warabimochi. The kinako (soybean flour) was done to a strong flavor and was not too sweet. I had the sake I chose heated. The sake is aged for 2 to 3 years before being bottled at the best drinking time, so the hot sake had a delicious flavor that enhanced the caramel and nutty taste. When I saw the aged color, I thought it wouldn't go well with warabimochi (rice cakes), but it went well with kinako (soybean flour) and was delicious.

We ordered this sake last season because it was commented on the website of Kotobukiya in Atsugi as a "hidden gem for home drinking. It is a junmai sake with 70% polished rice. Good coloring👍

Very refreshing! First taste is muscat with a hint of cucumber towards the finish. There is a slight dryness at the finish which is nice. A light mouth feel and a short finish. The name of this Sake is true to the flower.
The sake fair was being held in Kyushu, so I chose one of the sake from the fair. Wakapai. I made a mistake. It is Waka Botan. I think this is the first time. It is Sanwa Shuzo, famous for "Iichiko" shochu, isn't it? It is totally different from shochu. It is sweet and delicious. If you ask whether it is juicy or not, it is not so juicy. It is the opposite of shochu. It is full of the feeling of rice. I wanted to drink it at home with my favorite type. I wanted to take home Wakapai, too. The people who know Wakapai are on this side. The young people I drank with didn't know.
