I bought it in Kumamoto during my Shikoku - Kyushu - Kinki trip last year. It was a brand I wanted to try at least once, and I was so happy that I let it sit for more than a year. When I opened the bottle and poured it, it smelled like honey and custard. The mouthfeel is moist and sweet. It has a savory, caramel-like flavor and a balance of sweet and sour astringency. It is so delicious that you can't help but smile! The full-bodied sweetness and bitter astringency in the aftertaste. The taste is not too strong, but has a high level of quality, and is very similar to a pudding! Refreshing with a fruity tartness. This one is only 8% alcohol so it is very easy to drink. Enjoyed this one while making s’mores with my girlfriend and brother.

This is a speial edition for distribution by Miyajima Liquor Shop, Ueda City. This sake uses Sankei-nishiki and brewed in Kimoto Method. So, I could enjoy the full-bodied but fruity taste. Really love it!

Tasted here also at Hankyu Department Store. Junmai Ginjo-shu made with Kuzuryu. It is a refreshingly dry sake, but has a sweet and fruity taste. This time I bought a bottle of unfiltered raw sake made with Jinryoku.

Tasted at Umeda Hankyu Department Store. The rice was said to be Gohyakumangoku. The quality of the sake is clean and refreshing for hiyaoroshi. It is easy to drink without a sense of maturity. As the person in charge said, it is a quiet type of sake, so I think it is suitable for a mealtime drink.

It looks like all of them use locally grown rice, as did the two types of Kitanosho I posted the other day. It seems that only Ryu-ryoku and Koko use Jinryoku all the time. I'm sure there are other places like Okura that use it for single use. When I tasted it, my impression was that it was quite sweet and the second half was heavy, but it was smoky and the flavor of the rice came through with a bang. It has a strong bitterness at the end. It is not the type of sake I would drink on its own, so I will have to wait and see. I don't think it should be chilled too much. If you like Shimane or Tottori area sake, this would be good for you. I think it has a quality of sake that would not be affected by letting it sit for a while. There are glimpses of sweetness and a fruity atmosphere, but I wonder if it's basically more of a classic. Sake from the Takeshita Brewery, birthplace of former Prime Minister Takeshita. Gorgeous aroma, The fruity flavor is just as the label says. The sweetness is reminiscent of pineapple, The sweetness reminds one of pineapple, and gradually the bitterness appears and disappears.
