I see that it is read as "Sekepikozan". If I had not drank this sake, I might not have been able to read it correctly for the rest of my life. The taste is fresh and quite rich. The bitter bitterness comes out in the back of the mouth, and the taste is sharp and clean. The sweetness is modest for Aizan, and although it is not the modern type of sake, the umami flavor is very well conveyed. Not bad!

I've been wanting to try this one for a while...they use 1801 yeast. It's gorgeous and fruity. It's also quite sweet. I think it's the most gorgeous of all the Yukihikosan brands. This was over 2,000 yen at Asano Sake Shop, but at a local liquor store it was 1,980 yen🙄. I wonder what it is? I heard some breweries and stores add on shipping costs 🤔.

Sake opened at a remote off-line meeting (3) I was asked "What is the best sake you drank this year? I answered "Aozora", but later I remembered that it was the future of sake from Akabu newborn 🤣. By this time I couldn't even remember what it tasted like, so I checked again the next day. The rice used is 100% Benkei. It is a kijoshu, although there is no description. Another brand of Imi no Kura! They say it's the same tank as the Jun Gin from the Imi brewery. It has sourness and bitterness in the sweetness that is typical of Imi. It's like a sake-within-a-sake! I've reserved a bottle for next season and I'm looking forward to it😆.

Purchased at a supermarket in Karuizawa. I did not expect much...but I experienced the power of Nagano sake🍶...aroma: a faint sweet aroma of rice, a clear sweet bitterness...the bitterness is just right and does not bother me...it is delicious😋...but it is also delicious😋 when drunk as is... ...but it really comes into its own as a food sake! It's a very beautiful sake that doesn't interfere with food 🍶♪ I'm sipping it with a side dish of inada I caught in Sagami Bay 😋♪ This is delicious 😋♪....

This sake is brewed by Umeshiki Yamakawa, a subsidiary of the major sake maker Hakutsuru Shuzo. In recent years, Hakutsuru Shuzo has purchased a number of breweries from across Japan. The Aomori-based brewer Momokawa, which uses Hakutsuru Nishiki, is also a subsidiary company of Hakutsuru Shuzo. Not much of an aroma, slight whiff of alcohol. Dry, watery and clean on the palate, with little umami and a slight alu taste. After drinking it, it has a light throat feeling with a faint sweetness. It is a standard shokuchu sake. For the snacks, we had stewed kalbi and root vegetables, mussel pickled in soy sauce, chili bonito sakutome, and baby star ramen with the flavor of kondashi. It goes best with sakabuto, which enhances its sweetness.
