profile iconThis is the first time I've had this wine, Chikyukura. It has no peculiarities and is easy to drink, yet fruity! Sake recommended by my favorite yakitori restaurant Yakitori and stewed chicken are both delicious! Delicious sake and snacks! Recharge your energy after a hard day's work!

profile iconMy wife is on a business trip to Kansai and I took the night shift off to babysit. Then there was nothing else to do but to drink it 😁. A little bit of sweetness and umami, followed by a touch of alcohol ❗I like it because it's a gentle yet orthodox 🎵. My wife found out that I have a large stock of sake and said, "I'm looking forward to Kansai sake souvenirs 😊" but she said, "Drink them all before you get them ❗" 😭. No matter how much I tried to explain to her, she kicked me out ❗ "No matter how much I tried to explain, it's impossible to run out ❗". But he went to Inari shrine in Kyoto over the weekend and bought me some sake✨. What the heck, he's in love with me 😏.

profile iconThis was also served at Kamazen near Kashihara Jingu-mae Station. Is this the same brewery and local brand as Harushika? I have never seen it in Tokyo. The first aroma is fruity. In the mouth, it is smooth and has a beautiful sweetness and umami flavor. Unlike Harushika, which is often dry, this sake is well-balanced and easy to drink. Harushika's dry sake is also easy to drink for a dry sake. From everyone's posts on Sake-no-Wawa, it seems that the raw sake is delicious. The fourth one is Takamatsuzuka burial mound. It is not a clay bun.

profile iconSake from a small brewery that can only be drunk locally (Shirakami) Shirakami Yamahai Junmai Shu: 65% pure rice sake at full strength The nature of the Shirakami mountain range is expressed in this sake. It is a rich, full-bodied sake unique to Yamahai. It is a junmai sake that has a gentle taste on the palate, yet is refreshing. It is best served lukewarm. Rice used: Mashigura (produced in the company's own rice fields) Rice polishing ratio 65 Sake degree +3.0 Acidity 1.6 Alcohol 15.3" (from Rakuten website) Shirakami Shuzo's sake is delicious and blows me away. Shirakami Shuzo is good! The cider at the nearby Shirakami Winery is also good! If you stop by Roadside Station Tsugaru Shirakami Beach Nijimeya, be sure to stop by!

profile iconSweetness: 3 Umami: 3 Astringency: 2 Acidity: 2 Bitterness: 3 Fullness, body: 3 Flavor: Apple The color is almost transparent, and the head aroma is soft and raw. On the attack, the sweetness and umami of the rice smoothly passes through the nose, followed by an apple-like lingering aroma. The bitterness that lingers at the end is not heavy at all, but it is still very tight. Although the alcohol content is 13%, you can enjoy the sweetness and umami of the rice and drink it easily without getting tired of drinking it 😆. On the second day, there is no particular change in texture as the sake is still stable as a fire-brewed sake. It is still an excellent food sake and goes well with teriyaki yellowtail and canned mackerel! Delicious!" but more like "Oh, it's so good!"...lol

profile iconAlcohol Content: 16% to 17 Yamada Nishiki Polishing ratio: 25 At a senior's house. This sake is produced by the same brewery as Kouzenjosui. This one has a fruity taste with a strong sweetness. Like Kouzenjosui, there is no hint of a tangy taste at all. It was very delicious. Sake with a Japanese paper label is very cool.

profile iconThis is a Junmai-shu purchased at the end of the year at the brewery. It is a junmai sake that I bought at the end of the year! But when heated up, it was a mellow and full-bodied sake. The first kanji used for sake is "yama" (mountain), and "tsuru" (crane) is the second most used, followed by "sho" and "mune". The first sake brewery to use "Masamune" was "Sakura Masamune" in Hyogo Prefecture, followed by "Kiku Masamune" and "Ski Masamune. Other names include "Kiku-Masamune," "Ski Masamune," and "Obaste Masamune. It is interesting to look up trivia about sake🤣.

profile iconLast day of GW. A bottle of Honjozo Honjozo from my wife's relatives. It was a little sweeter and softer, I tried it cold, room temperature, lukewarm, and hot, and it was a good sake. I am grateful to be able to have such a local brand of regular or honjozo class sake. The first half of GW was a day trip to Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture, and the spoils of my return trip to Niigata. The trophies of the first half of GW were mixed in. Fried egg with asparagus and bacon. Shiitake mushroom grilled with cheese. bamboo shoots with pickled bamboo shoots. Asparagus and bamboo shoots are from Niigata Prefecture. Eggs, shiitake mushrooms, and tomatoes are from Tochigi Prefecture.

profile iconThe 300ml bottle is a 50% polished daiginjo that has a smooth, soft entry with a Fukuro Shibori taste and retains the old-fashioned, light and dry taste typical of Niigata Prefecture sake. Today is my first Saturday off in a while, so I went shopping with my family. I also visited Yamakoshi Honpo, which just opened yesterday at Cocoon 2 in Saitama Shin-Toshin. The store is an antenna for the Yamakoshi area of Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, and Niigata Prefecture's foodstuffs, and is like a select store. The shop has a good selection of sake in one-cup and small bottles, which will come in handy. The brewery "Ofuku Masamune" is located near the former Yamakoshi Village in present-day Nagaoka City. The brewery also produces a brand called "Yamakoshi," which is brewed from rice grown in the terraced rice paddies of Yamakoshi. The sushi is made by Kadokami Gyozu. Headquartered in Teradomari, Niigata Prefecture, it specializes in fresh fish. This is also a place I sometimes like to go shopping.
