コタロー
While wandering around an antenna shop in Fukui, I saw a "only available here" pop-up on one of the Echizen capes I wanted to try! Is it mainly shipped within the prefecture? The aroma is sour. When you drink it, it flows like water, slurping on the palate with no resistance at all. But there is a hint of sweetness from the rice, and it finishes with a crisp sharpness. Delicious. After a few days, you start to smell like muscat? When you drink it, it is fruity for a moment, but soon changes to the deliciousness of rice, and it is still sharp! It is more on the classic side, but it is full of transparency and does not feel heavy. The slight bitterness in the aftertaste is also pleasant. Warming: ♨️ The aroma of rice is a little bitter. When you drink it, the sweetness of the rice expands and is cut off by the acidity. It is also good warmed up. I'm curious about the other Echizenmisaki 👀.

Hori
We received Kawanakajima Genmai Harmonic Emotion. This sake is a junmai daiginjo made from 35% polished Yamadanishiki and 49% polished Miyamanishiki at a ratio of 9:1 and aged at low temperature for 6 months. Until last year, each junmai daiginjo was blended 1:1, but this year the process seems to have changed. The sake, which is slightly amber in color after aging, has a rich, mildly sweet and umami taste with a savory, caramel and nutty mature taste. Although the label "Nama-zake" that existed until last year is no longer displayed on the bottle, we are sure that it is Nama-zake. The sense of maturity suggests that it was at least stored fresh. This is the first time I have had this type of sake, but it is surprisingly delicious. The flavorful taste from the raw aging process gave me a glimpse into the world of sake that I had never experienced before.

Jizake Train E501 SAKIGAKE 2nd Anniversary(Yuki→Mito) Fruity and wine-like taste. It is sweet, juicy and delicious. Just as the name suggests, it tasted like green apples. It was also low in alcohol. The photo shows the snack box lunch from a cafe in Yuki City, a souvenir badge, and a commemorative sake. The commemorative sake distributed in the train was also made by the Urasato Sake Brewery. I am looking forward to drinking it later.

Jizake Train E501 SAKIGAKE 2nd Anniversary(Yuki→Mito) We participated in an event where we could compare local sake from Ibaraki while enjoying a view of Mt. The first sake we drank was this one. It tastes like honey and has low alcohol content. My companion won this sake in a raffle held on the train! It was nice to talk with the brewery staff. The label was designed by a local Tsukuba University student with the image of this sake in mind. The label and the taste matched perfectly!
