🍶🌾 Mai-Bijin MYVY My husband had a business trip to Fukui again, so I asked him to buy it again! 🚄✨ I was told that this year's is a little "less kinky"...the color is definitely different! Less reddish, golden, honey-colored 🍯. Tastes like... plum wine? If you weren't told, you might think it was plum wine! It's almost a honey plum wine! Delicious 😋🍯.

🍶🌾 Kabishin x Kairindo Oh Splash I heard that Oh Splash, which I had no chance to drink since Fukagawa Hakkesho closed down, was sold at Ito-Yokado! My husband bought it for me. It's still delicious! It's delicious...! 🥹🥂. (He said they had 2 more bottles later on, so I bought them all 😅-> and they were soon empty W)

🍶🌾 Argo Sake 5.0 On the way home, I bought some Argo the day before and chilled it on the izakaya shinkansen 🚄😁. I thought it was kind of interesting to have sake in a can. (By the way, I took Izakaya Shinkansen with Kamo Nishiki which I bought at Hasegawa Sake Shop in Tokyo Station on the way there 😆)

🍶🌾 Kabishin Josen Paper Cup The set of fugu nabe (pufferfish hot pot) included instructions for making fin sake, so I decided to buy a cup of sake for that! So I decided to buy a cup of sake for that! I like my fin sake when it's a little bit lukewarm! The broth taste is good! I'm sure you'll love it 😋😋.

🍶🌾 White Peony Koihana RENKA I bought this sake at "Jizakeya Ankuru" in Sanste, Fukuyama Station, because my parents are going to have fugu sashimi and fugu nabe (fugu stew). I thought I would definitely like this one because it is made with white malted rice. I think I forgot to take a picture of it! 😢

🍶🌾 Hana Hato Sparkling*Hana Heart I bought something for myself to drink at "Jizake shop Ankuru" in Sanste, Fukuyama station, because we are going to have fugu sashimi and fugu nabe (blowfish stew) at my parents' house. It's so delicious! I'll be back for more 😋🥂.

🍶🌾 Shinsei Colors Tangerine I had seen Tangerine from the outside the day before, so I went in to make sure it was there again this day! (I have bad eyesight, so I was 🫩← a suspicious person staring at the outside with these eyes) I was a little bit sweeter than the last time I was there, when I was impressed by the citrus 🍊! I think it's a little less sweet and a little less sour than the 🍊 that I had the last time I went there. It tastes like it's Colors. The manager said that the tangerine tastes differently from bottle to bottle. But since it's tangerine, I had two glasses: ☺️

🍶🌾 Shinsei Colors Earth Earth Like a white wine! It has acidity, of course, but it's also crisp and has a bit of bitterness at the end, so it's really a white wine! The next day, and the day after that, it may have mellowed a bit. ☺️

🍶🌾 Shinsei No.6 S-type It's been a while since I've had No.6! It's still delicious 😊. It's been a while since I've had it, but I still feel it's "exceptional"! (In my opinion) I had another glass with a refill. (I actually saw some tangerine in the fridge...I asked but was told no 🥲)

🍶🌾 Ichinozo Special Junmai Sake Dry I was looking forward to the "Sake Go Around" again this year! I had already planned to take the afternoon off with my wife and I and entered the event! (7/7) This is the third of three restaurants we visited! Koetsuan & Ichinokura (Miyagi) I was already over my limit of 2 gou, but I really wanted to try a restaurant I had never been to in Monnaka because it was participating in the go-around this year...pushing through😇🏴‍☠️ I usually avoid Ichinokura because of its dryness (but I love "Himezen"), but it has a delicious flavor and doesn't feel too spicy! It was great to hear detailed stories from the brewery staff! Sake is interesting after all 🥹. This year's sake go-around was too much fun!

We hope you will join us next year! 🎉 It's a very exciting and fun event that we love because we get to meet the store owners & brewery staff & sake-loving customers. ☺️ I'm a little sad that it's only on October 1st every year... I've been looking forward to buying a batch in advance, but what if something happens on the day of the event and I can't attend? I'm so nervous 💦. I wish you could make it a "week" of 10/1 that includes Saturday and Sunday, or if that's not possible, at least make it a 3-day event 🥴.
