I bought this for a quick drink while on a business trip to Hiroshima. It was smooth, watery, and had no peculiar taste at all. I guess this is the reason why Maboroshi is called "Maboroshi.
Recently, I've become a sake connoisseur and have been experimenting with a variety of sake. Today I got a bottle of Tazake Special Junmai Sake. I really appreciate the fact that I can buy it by mail order.
The first sip of Tasake was the Yamahai brewed version, and while the first taste is similar, the Yamahai has a second level of depth of aroma and taste that spreads out three-dimensionally after the first sip, while the Tasake has a more full and lingering taste. This is delicious in its own way. It's so much fun.
Finally! This is the first time I've had it, and I have to say, I'm convinced of its taste. It has a mellow aroma, a full-bodied, sweet taste, but it goes down smoothly and easily.
This is the first time I tried it, and while it's not bad, I felt that it doesn't have that much personality to be worth mentioning. I have an amateur tongue, so please forgive me.
