I had a small dinner with smoked horse meat, the last souvenir from my recent business trip to Kumamoto, and tuna stew from Yaizu that had been sitting in the fridge. According to the store where we bought the smoked horsemeat, most of the horsemeat on the market is from Canada, and most of the horse sashimi and souvenirs distributed in Kumamoto Prefecture are also from Canada. Most of the horse meat and souvenirs sold in Kumamoto Prefecture are also from Canada! How about some Kumamoto horse meat? But I consulted with my wallet and bought some domestic horse meat, smoked with marbling. It is more moist than beef, and the fat is not too sticky, but it tastes spicy, so I think a spicier sake would be better. I guess it would be shochu. The tuna stewed in cubes is not Aomori Omama tuna, but it is a stable partner.
