Memorandum for myself This is a drinking comparison with UA Snowman. The fizziness was stronger here. The color of the supernatant is almost transparent, which is different from UA. When I poured it into a glass, I could see the strong bubbles. When I put it in my mouth, I found it to be this, this, this! It is a slightly bitter Calpis with a moderate sweetness. It has a nice sharpness. Is it drier this year? In comparison with UA, I prefer the original one by far. I can taste various flavors in UA, but I felt that they are not integrated. On the other hand, I felt that everything was integrated in the original and it was very well put together. How about a repeat? Next year by all means!

Memorandum for myself Since it is Christmas, I will open two types of snowmen in order. It's a collaboration with United Arrows. The jackets are adorable. We were able to open the bottle without spurting out because we had let it sit for a while after purchasing it. The supernatant is a little yellow and mixed with lees and poured into a glass. I think there is less lees than a snowball. It has the same fizzy and bubbly sensation as the snowman. In the mouth, it is bitter and sour. There is also a refreshing sweetness. Various tastes come in turn. So this is nigori sake with an assemblage of flavors. It is completely different from the snowball sake I have been drinking. It is crisp and refreshing, so it seems to go well with all kinds of food. Would you buy it again? No, I wouldn't buy it at this price.

Memorandum for myself This is the first time for me to have a romanized takachiyoh. When I poured it into a glass, it was smooth and a little yellowish. The aroma was lychee-like. When I took a sip, I found it to be a rather robust sake without the sparkle of the bottle. It has a sharpness, and the taste of rice is clear. I was surprised because I had imagined it from the appearance of the bottle. Would I drink it again? No, I don't think so.

Memorandum for myself These are the trophies of my trip to Aomori. I had a chance to have Toyobai for lunch and dinner, and they were all very tasty and became souvenirs. When I poured it into a glass, it had a slight yellow tinge. The aroma is not so strong. When you take a sip, you will be filled with a fruity flavor. Yes, it is a good one. The bitterness comes later, so you will never get tired of drinking it. Would you like to repeat it? Next year, if there is one.

Memorandum for myself I bought it in a bottle but the stopper is simple lol Since it is a draft sake, it was quite vigorous when the bottle was opened. When poured into a glass, it is clear and smooth. The aroma is a little muscat? In the mouth, it was slightly fruity with a hint of bitterness. It was very youthful. After about the third day, the wine calmed down a little and the sweetness and umami became more apparent. I prefer it on the third day after opening the bottle. Would I drink it again? No, I don't think so.

Memorandum for myself The aroma is ginjo incense. When poured into a glass, it was a little yellowish and silky. In the mouth, the first taste was sourness, followed by sweetness, but it was not fruity sweetness, but sweetness close to umami. It tastes similar to mirin (sweet sake). After the sweetness, the bitterness is quite sharp and finishes off with a sharp taste. Would I repeat it? No, I don't think so.

Memorandum for myself This is a trophy of my trip to Niigata. I often see hiragana "takachiyo" lees, but I don't think I see kanji "takachiyo" lees... I heard that it is only available in Niigata Prefecture, but I wonder how it is. Is it available at antenna stores? The bottle is opened with a screw cap, so it is not very vigorous. When poured into a glass, it is slightly cloudy, but I could not see much gasiness. The aroma is that of rum. It is sweet and bitter in the mouth. Ah, the kanji! It is sweet, but a refreshing bitterness comes quite a bit later. I felt it was difficult to match it with food. Would I repeat it? Probably not.

Memorandum for myself Once a year, I travel to Niigata. It has become an annual event to drink and eat on an overcrowded schedule of two days and one night at this time of the year. We had this at an izakaya (Japanese style bar) that we visited for dinner. The izakaya had a fairly large selection of local sake from Niigata Prefecture, and although I was very worried, I decided on this one, which I knew the name of but could not find locally. We poured a glass full of this sake. The color was clear. It was a little sweet in the mouth. It is not the fruity flavor that is popular, but the sweetness of the rice. It has a strong umami flavor and is clean and crisp. Is it a "light and delicious" sake? Ah, it is like a Niigata sake. Thank you very much.

Memorandum for myself It is a souvenir of my son's trip to Shikoku. It is a honjozo brewed in a small bottle of 180ใŽ–. The aroma is that of aluzoe. When poured into a sake cup, it is clear and colorless. When you put it in your mouth, you may wonder, "Is it light? Is it light? After a beat, the punch of the aluzoe awakens you. It is a very strong sake. It has a sharpness, and was a perfect match with today's side dish, negitoro (green onion). Thank you, son.

Memorandum for myself The bottle was opened with a pop, as is typical for a draft sake. When poured into a glass, it was not colorless, but rather slightly yellowish. I could also see a slight bubbling. The aroma was slightly muscat? When I put it in my mouth, yes, it was muscat. The balance of sweetness and sourness is perfect. I have not been a fan of sake with acidity recently, but this one is totally good. How about a repeat? Next year by all means.

Memorandum for myself Please note that the cork will fly out vigorously when opened. After opening the bottle, put the cork in the bottle and mix the lees. When poured into a vessel, it was a white, cloudy sake with a slight sparkle. The gasiness is unexpectedly strong. The aroma was a little lychee-like. When you put it in your mouth, you can still feel the gasiness. The sweetness is surprisingly moderate, and I could feel the umami of the rice. The lack of sweetness also makes the wine sharp and does not leave much of a lingering aftertaste. It seems to go well with all kinds of food. Would I drink it again? If I have a chance next year, by all means.

Memorandum for myself The bottle is opened with a lot of vigor there. The aroma is a little young grape? A little yellowish in the vessel. There was no sense of fizz. In the mouth, it is still grape. It is not a ripe grape, it is like a first grape. It has a sharpness, so you can drink it without getting tired of it. Repeat? Next year, if the timing is right.

Memorandum for myself When you pour it into a glass, you can clearly see the pizzazz and gassiness. When you take a sip, it is sour, or rather quite sour. Some people said it was apple-like, but I couldn't taste it because the sourness came to the forefront. It was the same after a few days. I think I don't like it... Repeat? No, I don't think so.

Memorandum for myself There are two Halloween labels, the later one. This is the one that is not a cage. The aroma is pear. When poured into a glass, it has a slightly yellowish color and is slightly cloudy. It tastes sweet and delicious in the mouth. It's a perfect Japanese pear. It is sweet but has a sharp taste and does not leave much aftertaste. How about a repeat? If it comes out next year, I will buy it.

I heard that Takagi Shuzo, famous for Jyushiyo, gave them technical guidance. There are not many liquor stores near me that carry it, but I found it at a liquor store I looked in the other day and bought it without hesitation. First day of opening the bottle The aroma was not very pleasant. When I took a sip, sweetness came first. This sweetness is unique, not fruity, but similar to that of sap. It is very light and refreshing. After that, there is a bitter taste that finishes off.

It's a fully pre-ordered product (maybe). I had been interested in this product for some time, so I made a reservation as soon as possible. First day of opening the bottle It's a stopper type, not a screw cap. I opened the bottle thinking it would be okay because it was a light cloudy wine, but it was quite vigorous and I got a "pop! The cork flew out with a sound. Is the aroma melon? When you take a sip, you can feel quite a bit of microbubbling. The sweetness is just right, and the acidity is well balanced, but as the sip goes on, I gradually get tired of it. I wondered if I was not feeling well today.

I bought it as a souvenir on my way home from an errand in Sendai. First day of opening the bottle The aroma is dark and melon-like. The first sip has a fruity but slightly seme-like smell. It is not a classic, but it has some punch. It also has acidity, is sharp and has a low aftertaste.
