Memorandum for myself Spoils of war from my visit to Iwate Prefecture in May. This is the first brand I have not seen at my favorite liquor store. The bottle is smooth and slightly yellow when poured into a bowl. One sip and you can taste the ripe strawberries ๐Ÿ“. It's so easy to drink and delicious! A jackpot!

Memorandum for myself I was able to purchase this year's bottle without incident. The bottle is perforated, so it was not too difficult to open. When you mix the lees and pour it into a cup, you feel a shwash. When you put it in your mouth, the bitterness comes first, then the sweetness. The aftertaste is clean and not too bitter. Memorandum for myself The bottle was opened with a pop, as if it were a fresh sake! It was very vigorous. When poured into a glass, it had a slight yellow tinge. The aroma is fruity, but not fully ripe and youthful. When you put it in your mouth, you immediately feel the acidity. It is really like strawberry. It is not fully ripe either, but tastes young and sour like a first harvest. As the days go by, you can enjoy the change, and from around the 5th day, the acidity weakens and the sweetness increases, making it an elegant strawberry. It was delicious.

Memorandum for myself I bought this last year and made a huge mistake in opening the bottle, so I took my revenge! It is an outrageous liquor that blows out about half of the bottle. This time, as the warning says, I made a hole with a thousand pieces of paper and gradually let the gas out instead of draining it immediately. The label is also provocative with a gorilla holding dynamite. It took a little over 30 minutes to open the bottle. Finally, the bottle was opened, but it took so long that I didn't really care what happened to it. When I poured it into a glass, it was fizzing strongly as a matter of course. As I had struggled so much when opening the bottle, it was almost as expected. When I put it in my mouth, the fizz was so strong that I could not detect even a trace of rice flavor. It is just a bitter, strongly carbonated water. After the second or third day, I finally got used to it and was able to confirm the sweet and savory flavors. I wonder if the intention is to have fun opening the bottle with a picture and warning on the label? It wasn't fun at all, but...

Memorandum for myself I was shocked by this wine about 2 years ago and decided to buy it next season for sure, but the timing was not right and it is now. When the bottle was opened, it was as gassy as ever, with a strong pop. When poured into a glass, it was slightly bubbly. When I put it in my mouth, I was surprised to find that it was much drier than what I had drunk before. It is much drier than the one we drank before. It was full of fruitiness before, but this time it was a little more subdued.

Memorandum for myself I purchased this sake at a liquor store in Akita Prefecture, which I visited on a trip last year, and put it to sleep. It is said that this sake is only available in Akita Prefecture. It was written that it was a special junmai sake hi-ire. The aroma is modest. It is very mild in the mouth. Memorandum for myself In my mind, when in doubt, this is the instrument Masamune. No problem opening the bottle. When poured into a vessel, it was colorless, clear, and silky. The aroma has a faint seme smell. I was surprised when I put it in my mouth! It does not smell of alcohol! Yes, it is delicious! It is a delicious sweetness with a concentrated flavor. Memorandum for myself This was my first drink of 2024. I was able to open the bottle without too much trepidation because of the perforated stopper. It has a perfect chouashouka feeling, and my expectations were high. When I poured it into the glass, it had a very nice, cloudy, chouffeured taste. In the mouth, it has a slight bitterness, but a moderate sweetness comes through with a small aftertaste, and it goes down smoothly. I have this wine every year and it never disappoints. I am looking forward to another year.
