When you put it in your mouth, you can feel a slight bubbling sensation.
The balance of sweetness, bitterness, and sourness is so good that you can drink as much as you want. The alcohol content is a solid 16%, so be careful not to drink too much, but why is it so light and easy to drink?
And, as I said, it is the most cost-effective.

I have decided to buy this sake every year.
When I started Sake-no-wa, I didn't even know the "ni" in Japanese sake (I still don't understand it), and the owner of the liquor store I entered recommended it to me with trepidation.
I was lucky to be able to buy it, now that I think about it....
The moment I drank it, my concept of sake burst.
Ever since I met this sake, I have been fascinated by the taste of Kouei Kiku and its characteristic acidity! And always will be!

This is my first Tobiroki.
I was not sure when to open it, but I brought Tobiroki with me because I was going to drink with my friend on the pretext of wedding celebration, but I drank most of it myself.
I thought it had a good balance of flavors and would be delicious with anything. Of course, I could also enjoy it by itself, and when I realized there was almost nothing left.

I was curious about this bottle.
I have never come across it at the liquor stores I have visited so far, so I popped it in.
The aroma was rather mild.
The overall taste is not that assertive.
But it's really tasty.
The flavor of ginjo-shu spreads elegantly and gently on the palate, making you want to sip it over and over again.
It makes you want to sip it again and again.
The acidity is well felt and to my liking.

This is the green label of Gobashi's RIDE series.
In contrast to the blue label, which is a heavier style, this one is a super light, sweet, sour and juicy bottle.
It also has 6% alcohol, which is not my favorite analogy, but it is as if you are drinking citrus juice.
So 6% alcohol is not part of the alcoholic beverage, just as bananas are not part of the snack. (*It is an alcoholic beverage.)

This Tsushimaya is one of my favorite brands.
At the first sip, I felt a fresh aroma in the nose, followed by a fresh sweetness in the throat, and finally, the nigori (nigori rice flavor) was softly felt. From the second sip, the sweetness was subdued and a moderate bitterness and milky rice flavor could be felt.
A perfect summer saké!

I think it has been quite a while since I drank it.

You can feel the deliciousness and acidity of sake in its clear flavor. It is perfect to enjoy with a meal.
Drinking sweet type sake makes dry sake taste even better, so it's a nice interaction.
I can't deny that this is a little late, but I have a feeling I'm about to get hooked on Kochi sake.

Under the blazing sun, we paired grilled squid, grilled oysters, and grilled scallops with this sake!
The most talked-about sake right now? It is a sake from Abu-cho, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the hottest town in Japan. At first, the sake was brewed using the facilities of Sumikawa Sake Brewery, which brews "Toyo Bijin".
It is a delicious sake characterized by a mellow sweetness, and finishes with a slight sourness. Is it my imagination that the taste is similar to that of Toyo Bijin?

It has been a long time since we have had a W (double-wheeled). Finally, it was my turn to open the bottle.
This wine has a rather calm and gentle taste, with a mild sweetness and no curd. However, the addition of a moderate bitterness and the punch of 17% alcohol transforms it into a W to your liking that you will never get tired of drinking.
Be careful not to drink too much.

A friend bought this sake as a souvenir from Kochi. The accompaniment was bonito tataki.
Ugh, it's delicious.
What can I say? It's a very pleasant sake with no unpleasant taste at all.
The flavor after drinking is especially beautiful, leaving only the umami taste in the mouth and making me want to repeat it over and over again!
Pair it with this side dish, and you are on a trip to Kochi.

There was a bottle of Dusk Orange in the fridge waiting its turn to be opened, but I couldn't wait and opened it first, sorry Taso'ole.
As its reputation suggests, it is much cleaner than other Kouei Chrysanthemums! But it tastes exactly like Kouei Kiku!

This is...a very drinkable sake. (Because it was laid down? (Laughs) You can taste the rich rice flavor like an aged sake, and also the rich sweetness at the same time, and finally the acidity refreshes it a bit.
It has a punchy taste and strength, but it is a nice "rich" sake that is perfect for a leisurely drink!
