It had been a long time since I had a dinner with my wife and we decided to have sashimi for dinner. I bought a bottle of "Yukino Kayasha" at a local liquor store! Nice to meet you. The best pairing with sashimi. Elegant sweetness. I felt the fruity taste. It was delicious!

Yoshiike Cup Sake Series. I have not been able to drink due to continuous illness, so I had a cup of sake for the first time in a while. The sake is full of sweetness and has a full-bodied flavor. It was delicious!

Sorry for the consecutive posts. It's been a long time since I've had sake from Hokkaido. The sweetness is typical of special junmai. The illustration of a black woodpecker has a big impact. It was delicious!

Okachimachi Yoshiike Cup Sake Series. Kaga-no-i from Itoigawa, the city of jade. It has a light and refreshing taste. It is light and easy to drink, but has a spiciness as it passes down your throat. It was delicious!

Long time no log in. Beer and highballs are the mainstay of summer, and sake has been a long time coming. I got some good sashimi, so I bought this one at a local liquor store. It had been a while since I had had Nagano sake, but it has a good balance of spiciness and flavor! It was delicious!

Yesterday, my family and I took a drive near Narita Airport. We went to a local supermarket, Seimiya, and bought Josephine Dressing, which we wanted. When we went to the sake corner, we found a "local Chiba sake corner"! I bought a bottle of Kochira Koko among many other sake. It is a "Umakuchi Junmai," or pure rice with a rich flavor! It was delicious!

Found a rare Hokkaido cup of sake at Yoshiike! What's great about Yoshiike is that they have product replacements like this! It's my first time to try Hokkaido sake. The freshness spreads in the mouth! It was delicious!

Echigo Myokozan, also purchased at Yoshiike. Perhaps it was because I drank it after the light Owari Otokoyama, but it was a strong sake! It taught me again that I prefer darker than light. It was delicious!

Sake from Aichi Prefecture bought at Yoshiike. This is the first sake from Aichi that I have not had the pleasure of drinking. It is a light sake, as it is called "light". It was delicious!

It's been a long time since I've posted anything because I've been sober lately. On my way home from work, I went to Iidabashi and found an Aomori Prefecture antenna store! They have a cup of sake! I tried it and found it to be spicy and sharp! Not everything tastes good when you're sober! I could feel the roughness of Aomori in this sake. It was delicious!

This is the final installment of the GW series of Yoshiike Cup Sake. The yellow coloring of Yukitsuru is eye-catching. The catchphrase "This is a very tasty local sake" is exactly what it says, It was a delicious sake with a hint of Niigata's sake character! It was sweet but also sharp! It was delicious!

Cup of sake obtained on a trip to Nasu. Famima near the best pension where we stayed. I knew they would put it there as a special edition of Tochigi's famous sake. I couldn't drink it at the pension, so I toasted it when I got home. Spicy and delicious! Full of flavor! It was delicious!

It has a pleasant sweetness that lives up to its name, "sweet rain. It is also crisp and refreshing. It has a sake-like quality that is typical of Niigata sake. It was delicious!
