Yamahai Special Junmai
Alcohol 15
Polishing ratio 60
We went to Lake Biwa to have fun. Purchased it at the local sake corner of a nearby supermarket as an overnight stay companion.
It has a strong flavor and sweetness, and the smell and acidity characteristic of Yamahai are well controlled. I drank it cold, but it would have been better hot.
I think it would be good with dried horse mackerel.

The moment you put it in your mouth, you will be hit with a burst of flavor with moderate acidity.
It is full of vigor with a lively flavor and slight effervescence that is typical of nama-shu, but the aftertaste finishes with bitterness and spiciness.
It is slightly fragrant, but not cloying or glaring, and can be used as an in-between-dinner drink.
It would go well with vinegared dishes, nugi-nimono, and doteyaki.
I bought this at a sake store in Atami when I went to see the Atami cherry blossoms in Itokawa.
I like the aroma. It has a sour and clear throat.

Hello, take-san @ Shizoka-san 🐦.
It looks like you are enjoying Hanami with sake and 🌸 😊I wonder if they are in full bloom, very beautiful 🌸.
I feel like drinking Doukan for the first time in a long time🎶.
Hello, Pon-chan, here are the Atami cherry blossoms on February 20. The peak of full bloom had passed. This year, the Kawazu-zakura bloomed late, so there were more people than last year. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can enjoy Hanami sake🍶🌸.

There is little aroma. If I had to say, I would say plum. Slightly sweet. Slightly effervescent. Sour and refreshing. Delicious.
Purchased at a sake brewery.
Kusatsu-juku is located near the confluence of the Nakasendo and Tokaido Highway, and the townscape shows signs of having prospered since ancient times.
Ota Sake Brewery's Doukan is also made in Hyogo Prefecture, so you need to be careful because there are two different locations in Sake-no-wa. The strange place is very detailed.
Today, too, with sake from my hometown, Shiga.
Doukan, a brand associated with Ota Doukan, the builder of Edo Castle.
The sake brewer is said to have Ota Doukan as a distant ancestor (according to their website).
