It's finally dawned. My new year of sake brewing! More than once or twice I was staring at the Tenmei Nakadori Zero at the sake shop. I was in a monk's mood, thinking, "I'm going back to Utsunomiya next week, so I'll have to hold out for a snowman until then..." When I saw a notice on a nearby liquor store's Instagram that a snowman was in stock! ⛄ I didn't think I could buy one during the Paypay 30% points back 🤩. I went right away already 🚙. I ran out of time to cook dinner and ended up with bagged noodles 🍜 but I got the last one so I'm happy! ✨The kids were surprisingly happy too 🍜 enough said 🤣I'm a bad mother 😭 I was so wounded from all the other things I had to do that I can only perceive that it tastes almost the same as Organic Naturals X🤣. It's a calpis soda! 13% means it's alcohol free, so it's kind of hard not to finish it, but I'll do my best to keep it to see how it tastes and spend some time drinking other drinks 😑. I find the new sake season to be a season of training 😑.

I'm currently offering 30% points back if you pay with PayPay, so that means I can buy a 2,000 yen class sake for 1,400 yen, which I normally can't afford! So I got it✨. Mild apple-like aroma 🍎. The taste spreads slowly in the mouth, and then it is cut off as if it disappears with astringency................................mmmm yummy! It's good 😆 .... The last time I drank it, it seemed more gorgeous, but this time I felt it was a solid sake. As expected from Fukushima #1✨. But, I'm not sure if I'm right or not! Ippo Sake is as good as it gets and when I think of the original price of 1400 yen, I'm not sure if I can feel the difference of 600 yen 🤔I guess I can't usually buy it 😢. I think I can't buy it normally 😢. I still think I'll buy the Tenmei Nakadori! 😁😁

The days are rocky with the rest of the scrapbook and the temptation of a new bottle of wine. Plus, I have a physical and a family photo shoot next month. Of course I should cut back on the booze. So why am I so sad? I admired Hirupeko's "New Sake from Tenmei" and was conflicted at the liquor store, but I can't chase it down to the corporal and put it in my scrapbook. ...Yes, I'll start my new sake with snowballs! ⛄ How agonizingly I went to the liquor store and they were sold out of Snowman 😭I ended up with Wakanami ✨🌊 which I already drank this year. I also had a Japanese style guacamole made by Hirupeko 💕Yuzu pepper is the best ✨Hirupeko is a genius 🤩I put it on chilled tofu and it went well with it again 😊. And since I've been iron deficient lately, I deep fried oysters covered in curry powder ✨. Wakanami is refreshingly fruity and delicious without any mistake💕This will get me through to the snowman!

Here's my 200th check-in ✨ It was sent to me by a friend who I had the pleasure of photographing when I was in Osaka 🥺😍It's one that made me realize that alcohol is a human connection ✨. The aroma is fresh and apple-like 🍎 when you open it. The aroma of rice and a hint of ripeness on the palate. The acidity is followed by a firm bitterness. The aftertaste is clean and refreshing ✨. Classical but fruity. It has a classical but fruity taste and is delicious many times in one 😍It is also similar to Yuho 🤔. This sake brewery is owned by a descendant of Ota Doukan, who played an active role in the construction of Edo Castle. It's nice to have a story like that. Sake has a lot of history, horizontal connections, and is a profound thing. ☺️

Due to space constraints in my sake label scrapbook, I am today tied to lots that I have already drunk this year. I've been taking care of Yuho's Jungin, partly because it goes well with the autumn flavors. I think I've drunk 3 or 4 bottles since last month? 🤣 It has a lot of umami, a hint of ripeness, and a crisp aftertaste that goes well with the rich autumnal flavors💕. Yuho is the new normal ✨. This is a bottle I want to keep on hand at home from now on 😊.

The liquor store near me had only last year's bottle, so I stocked up to contribute to consumption & compare it with this year's, and ended up opening it, and drank 3 bottles in October. I've been drinking too much lately - but I wanted to have a cup of Furiman again, and then I realized it was the anniversary of my mother's death, so I decided to drink it 🍶 pretext, but... Hirotogawa River in Ten-ei Village, where I went with my mother: ☺️ Hirotogawa is very popular and has a modern image, but it's actually a classic and I'm surprised every time 😂. I think it's because it was just after opening the bottle, so it's dry and sharp in the mouth. The gentle umami spread slowly afterwards, and I felt a little sourness and bitterness. Last time I bought it again because I drank it all before trying the hot sake ✨ expense 🤣. It's so much better than cold 💕 Last time it was great with crab cream croquettes for lunch, this time with (also frozen) gratin😊mellow and mellow fuse in your mouth 🤩. I used to make white sauce a lot, but I have zero interest in making it because my kids won't eat it even though they are kids 🤣. And also with the fall fish which I felt was cheap at 168 yen per fish 🥰. Best fall dinner 💕 So, I made the mistake of drinking up all the Mimo Furikurou Romain for two days in a row 🤣I'll refrain from doing that today....

I've been scrapping liquor labels this year. Only 2 pages left 😱. I'm not saving my previous sake, so I have to limit myself to brands I've already had before the new sake season... I'm getting tied up 🤣. So Shimofuri Romain. I was torn between this and green Takachiyo, but I've never had green Takachiyo, so I went with this one. I was in the mood for a variety of drinks and then my husband went on a business trip... I had to empty a bottle of this to destroy the evidence 😁. It has a lot of umami, sweetness, and a slight bitterness. I started to smell the lactic acid aroma after 3 gou of it 😂. This kind of robust and round sake is good for cold season 💕I love it with frozen crab cream croquettes for lunch ❤10 bello 🤣.

My friend who went on a trip to Iwaki bought it for me ✨It seems I successfully brainwashed her into being a beer drinker to begin with 😁. This one has been around for a long time at the Ippouki brewery. Almost no aroma 🤔 a little bit of maturity? It has a classic taste with a calm, delicious, alcoholic and crisp cut. ☺️ It's the same super, but more classical than the one with a big "super" written on it. Good for the season when sake is good ✨.

After my trip to Kanazawa, I feel much more familiar with Ishikawa sake 🍶. I've been into drinking too much lately because I'm into drinking umeboshi 💦 and I went to the liquor store because they ran out of stock... so I got something low alcohol and modern ✨. It has a lactic aroma and acidity with a gentle umami ☺️ and a slight effervescence that makes it refreshing and dangerous to drink 🤩. It's similar to Modern Sentori, but maybe this one is fuller 🤔 whatever it is, it's delicious 💕 I thought I had a lull in my Sake fever after drinking a bottle of Jyushiyo on my birthday, but now it's back with Ume-boshi... 😱. I have more brands to chase after 🤣.

The proprietress of the usual liquor store recommends this one🌸. I bought it with me when I went to buy Ippo myself 😁 because you can't use your card unless you spend over 2000 yen. Contrary to the classical label, it is fruity and sharp, just the way the proprietress likes it💕. It's certainly delicious ✨and cheap, so it's good for when you're in need 🌸

Last ✨ of drinking alone in Osaka. I was served another unlisted Katsuma 💕 I've had fruity drinks like Kahayo, Tenpyo, Jyushidai, and Murayu so far, so this was much more light and refreshing than the others 😍. But I think you got the order wrong. This was the one for the ash-dried saury, right? 🤣 From the hana-yang pictures to the shime no gohan pictures, it was an hour and a half 🕖I had to rush back to the hotel from here to bathe my daughter, but I wasn't home yet 😭. So we had a glass of wine at the hotel's happy hour 🍷. After that, I went to the public bath with my daughter who came back and I helped a foreign lady struggling in the laundromat. I was drunk so I didn't care and talked to her naked so she must have thought I was weird from a westerner's point of view 🤣. It was a fun one-man Osaka night ✨😁😁.

Continuing my Osaka solo drinking ✨ The first Jyushidai I drank the other day was a super special, so I found the Honmaru and ordered it💕. I found the Honmaru and ordered it 💕 My taste buds were getting a bit suspicious by now 🤣The same gorgeous muscat-like aroma 🤔The Super Special went away like mineral water, whereas this one was crisp and sharp, probably because it's a Honjozo 😊. It's delicious and very sake-like 🥰.

Tokyo Station Gransta Hasegawa Sake Shop Souvenir on the way back from Osaka ✨. I was hoping to get a Tenpiki, but they only had Jun Dai for 3000 yen, so I gave up 😭. So I got Masayo, which I've been seeing a lot lately at Sakegawa and have been curious about 💕. I walked more than 10,000 steps on the last day ✨🏡. I opened it as soon as I got home thinking this would be good for such a tired body 😁. My daughter smells like muscat! I didn't trust that it was always muscat. But the label also said it smelled like muscat and I apologized to my daughter in my mind 🤣. It's sweet and tasty but thin, with a clear and slightly gassy taste, and the low alcohol content makes it gentle on a tired body 💕. I drank it in one gulp, but the sweetness lingered in my mouth after 2 gulps? 🤔. Well, but it's no problem. I enjoyed it in a perfect situation following the hana-yori 😁.

My husband was coming to Osaka on a business trip, and I thought I would have a day free to meet everyone at Sake no Wawa... but there was no way anyone was free on a Thursday daytime 😅. So I decided to go see my friend from Osaka University during the day ✨ So I got lost and walked a lot in that area... The Hinomono Yaro Daiyon Bldg. store I was looking for was under renovation, and it took me almost 20,000 steps to get to the other stores 😱. I had never had a Hana-yoku before ✨I didn't think I would like it based on the reviews, but since I was there, I went with the premium! It smells pretty fruity ☺️ and it's softly sweet 💕I don't really like sweet things, but it sinks into my tired body... and it's so smooth and delicious ☺️ I'm glad I had the best conditions to enjoy my first Hanyo 😍.

I wanted to fill it with home drinking as much as possible, Kagoshima, I drank because it was at a restaurant in Osaka drinking alone 😁. It has the same fruity flavor as the Hana-Yokuyo I drank the other day, but this one is more crisp and clean ✨ delicious 💕. It was 1 gou for the price you could buy a 4 gou bottle at the store, so I might as well have bought a bottle at Hasegawa Sake Shop if this was the one I wanted! By the way, this Hinomono Yaro's Umeda Ekimae Daiyon Building branch is under renovation, and when it reopens, I hear you can drink sake from all 47 prefectures. I came a little too soon 😭.

I opened a bottle the day I got back from camping 🍊 because I had a lot of souvenirs recently and I wanted to relieve the depression of not having enough alcohol at the camp. I saw it on Manachie's post and stocked up 😁. It smells fruity, but is it citrus? I closed my eyes and sniffed it 🍊? I think it is 🍊? That's how my nose works 😓. In the mouth it was sweeter than I expected 😳 followed by a sourness and a bitter taste like the peel of a mandarin orange! 🍊This is the kind you can guzzle at 13 degrees 😱. Even though it's fruity, the sourness and bitterness made it go well with the high quality pickled plums we happened to receive 🥰Priced pickled plums and sake are the best ✨.
