This is the second Ice Breaker this season. Again, the taste was typical of summer sake, moderately sweet and typical of modern sake. That is the beauty of Tamagawa.
The aroma is elegant and sweet. That elegance continues on the palate, but then a fresh sweetness follows and runs through the mouth. And yet, the elegance is instrumental goodness.
This sake reaffirmed my love of musical instruments.
The aroma is pear-like. The pear aroma can be felt on the tongue from the first sip, but the taste is characterized by a gentle balance of sweetness and acidity, and has a gentleness that makes it hard to believe it is a junmai ginjo. Like a gentle white wine, it is a sake that you will never get tired of drinking.
Elegant rice sweetness from the aroma. From the moment you put it in your mouth, its elegant and fruity sweetness runs through your mouth. It is the best of modern Junmai Daiginjos, with a royal taste and the best flavor.
From the aroma, it is like a fresh green apple. It has a refreshing acidity on the palate, not too sweet, and is perfect for the first drink of summer.
Of the "OCEAN" series, I had not yet had Hoshikai. When the bottle was opened, there was a bubbling sound and carbonation bubbles, and the gas was perfectly packed. From the aroma, there is a sweet and gorgeous aroma typical of Junmai Daiginjyo. From the mouthfeel, its sweet, gorgeous and juicy flavor runs through the mouth at once. It is sweet with a slight pineapple-like flavor.
The stylishly named Night&Dance sake from Yoshida Kurau. According to the brewer's description, it is a low-alcohol modern Yamahai sake.
The bubbling sound when the bottle is opened confirms that the gas is blocked. The first thing to notice is the sweetness of the rice from the aroma. However, it is very light on the palate, and from the taste to the aftertaste, there is a hint of rice sweetness and a slight Yamahai flavor, but it is not at all dull. It is a kind of dangerous sake that can be drunk in large gulps due to its low alcohol content.
PS: When I drank it the next day, the sweetness of the sake and the moderate acidity of modern Yamahai came out and it was even better. This kind of sake actually tastes best on the second day or so.
This is a summer-only junmai ginjo from Yokoyama. From the moment the bottle is opened, a bubbling sound indicates that the gas is tightly packed. From the aroma, it has a refreshing scent typical of summer sake. It is light on the palate, with a refreshing sweetness that runs through the mouth without being cloying. A perfect sake to drink in this hot and humid season with the air conditioner on.
I bought "Kaze no Mori ALPHA2 Konojonaki Hana Zaruwakari" with other Kaze no Mori at a liquor store. The other Kaze no Mori was in the 1000 yen range, so I was caught off guard and bought it, and was surprised to find the receipt in the 4000 yen range.
When I opened the bottle, I heard a bubbling sound like champagne. The gas is well packed. Sourness and gas like white wine from the palate. Then the sweetness of the rice follows, and it is amplified through the aftertaste.
It is a very modern sake wine-type sake.
Note: I drank about 3 gou of this sake and it didn't leave any aftertaste the next day. I feel the quality of the sake is also high.
Kaze no Mori ALPHA TYPE1 Summer Night Sky 500ml
When you open the bottle, you first hear a bubbling sound like champagne. You can tell that the gas is tightly packed.
When you pour it into a glass, you can feel the subtle acidity of koji. When you drink it, you feel a wine-like acidity on the palate, but it is slightly different from wine, and then a refreshing sweetness runs through your mouth.
It is a wine-like sake, different from today's fruity sake.
