Sake sold only in the town of Iwanai, Hokkaido. Looks clear (slightly yellow?) The taste is clean, but the rice flavor (a bit like steamed rice) is strong. The mouthfeel is clean, but the taste has a strong sense of rice (a little like steamed rice). Here is the second bottle this year. The sound when opened was a little airy, and it was clearly cloudy in appearance (it was shaken and mixed before opening). I had already had it before, but it was mellow and sweet. As a mealtime sake, it might be better suited to be a little more refreshing, but as a stand-alone sake, it is very tasty. In general, it has a taste typical of Kangiku.

This is the first sake I drink on New Year's Day. It has a flavor and drinkability that is hard to believe it is sake. It is low-alcohol, fruity, and has a bit of bubbles and gassiness, and is somewhat reminiscent of Champagne.

Although it was produced last November, it still has the shwashiness of a fresh sake (when the bottle is opened, it has a "jwah" feeling). Fruity aroma like pear and sweet taste. The impression is that it is mellower and a little heavier than the same "Abe" Takananishiki that we drank the other day. In any case, it was very tasty, and although it is only two brands, it is one that has solidified the high reputation of "Abe". It is a bug in the sake market that such a sake can be had for around 2,000 yen.

Dark and sweet. At best, it is unique, at worst, it has its own quirks. I drank it with grilled white eel, and it goes well with this kind of oily food. It is not in the middle of my personal strike zone, but it is definitely delicious.

Purchased on a friend's recommendation. This is another great draft sake. Great fizzy, fruity and sweet. It is quite similar to Sanzoku Yabe. I would like to try another brand.

I drank it at Sakita in Mitaka and enjoyed it so much that I bought it from the supplier, Ozaki Sake Shop, via mail order on the web. It is so wonderfully fruity and light that if you drank it blind, you might not even guess it was sake. It is easy to drink with no unpleasant alcohol taste at all, but the umami is very strong.
