It's good both cold and warmed. But I think it's a waste of time to warm it up, because the umami of the rice becomes stronger.

I really liked this as kanzake, kanzamashi—it has a ricey sweetness and umami to it and the pear aroma is a little more subdued than when it’s served chilled.
