Sake purchased at Niigata Sake-no-jin.
It's so refreshing and tasty. It's so cute! The label is cute.
Soupy sake is very popular these days. I like it.
The seventh sake of the Olas Sake-no-jin is Echi-no-Homare's "90 Pink". I tasted this brand last year, but it was not sold locally, so I went to a liquor store in Kamo City to buy it.
I thought it was good last year, too, but it is not as refined and complex as Niimasa or Kamonishiki, and I love its wild taste but full freshness and rich aroma. I could clearly feel the maker's intention of not cutting down the rice polishing ratio to 90% (probably).
By the way, the local price was 1,400 yen. I guess it is because of the 90% rice polishing ratio, but still, it is too cheap.
Hi madamarr 😃
I'm so glad you went out of your way to buy a bottle of this memorable sake 🤗I'd really appreciate a good sake for 1400 yen 😊I'll keep that in mind if I ever go to Niigata!
Koshi no Homare's 90 series.
100% Koshiibuki rice is used,
Polishing ratio 90
Fruity aroma, slightly effervescent mouthfeel. It has a crisp aftertaste. Very tasty.
Although the rice polishing ratio is 90%, the color is clean and the wine is easier to drink than one might expect.
This type of polishing can produce a bitter taste, but this one is very tasty because the delicious flavor of the rice can be strongly felt.
Thanks for your time. Here it is tonight. Classy aroma, discreet sweetness, fresh mouthfeel. It is delicious. I can drink it easily.
Koshinohomare Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake Kurahomare
Hara Shuzo(Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture)
Koshinohomare Qn Mitten Junmai Unfiltered Unrefined Unrefined Niigata Hara Shuzo
Soka Nakamuraya 1,595 yen
Rice polishing ratio 65%, 12% alc.
Acidity 2.7, N7 yeast Niigata
The acidity is quite strong. Apple taste, slight seme smell.
No miscellaneous taste, low alcohol content, lactic acidity
Delicious.
I would definitely buy it again!
The label is cute.
A gem I got at Kanazawa-ya in Uonuma. Slightly carbonated and watery. A little spicy. Maybe because it has 16% alcohol. The rice is Koshigaraku? I wonder if it is made from cold-weather rice. The taste is similar to that of "Kamizen Nyosui". In other words, it is a juice. It has a short aftertaste and can be drunk smoothly like water.
Postscript. A day after opening the bottle, it mellows out and has a bitter and umami taste. This is what I like about nama-zake!
