Purchased at the annual hiyaoroshi event at the Hanshin Department Store Nishinomiya posted earlier by Pekka Ru.
It was a spectacular sight to see over 150 varieties of hiyaoroshi!
The label doesn't say, but according to the Meimon Sake Kai's website, it looks like hiyaoroshi.
I bought some jackets, but I thought hiyaoroshi was rare in kijo sake, so I bought some.
It's juicy, sweet and sour like a melon. It also tastes a little complex. It's a kijoshu, but it's not too sweet and easy to drink. The label is really cute too!
The logo says "90" so I wonder if the base sake is based on the 90% milled rice ratio sake I bought at Harukas last year 🤔.
I served it with smoked octopus from Shibakusan, which was on sale at the Hiyaoroshi event.
I really wanted the melt-in-your-mouth smoked mackerel, but it seemed to be sold out immediately so I couldn't buy it 😿.
After tasting a few things, I bought smoked octopus and smoked chicken wings 😁.
It looks like boiled octopus sashimi, but the smoked aroma was so delicious 😋.
After 3 days, the melon flavor became much stronger 🍈.
Hello, bouken!
No~, you are as good as you think you are! Your choice of sake is different. So there was a Hiyayogoshi of Kijo sake?
That's amazing! I had not gone through it...
That looks like a very interesting sake!
Hello Mr. Pekkaar ☂️
I anticipated and targeted this sake from the beginning 😁.
It was a little fruity, sweet and sour 😋I have 2 more sakes I bought at this event😊.
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Sake-no-jin, Niigata Local Sake Cup 30 Bottle Set 2024, 3 bottles left 🍶其の弍
Good balance. It goes in easily. It has a spiciness and sharpness when paired with yellowtail sashimi, and acidity in the finish. At 50 degrees, you may not feel much change. 60 degrees. Elegant. Aroma of rice. The sweetness increases. Very good with yellowtail fat.
Purchased by mail order from Sake Kadoya @ Murakami.
This is the second sake I purchased at Sake-no-Oikawa. I had an image of "Kijo-zake" as "Shinsaku Amasugi", but what do you think of it?
It is not extremely sweet, but it is sweet in its own way, and if I had to say, it has a melon-like flavor that is delicious.
Cold wholesale stored in snow in Echigo. It has a crisp, dry taste that can only be found in Niigata, but it also retains its umami flavor. We enjoyed it with Hiramasa and sea bass sashimi.
Koshi no Homare kiki Junmai-shu brewed Kijoshu
I've had Shinmasa's kijoshu before, but this may be my first time to drink it elsewhere. I bought a packet and it's easy to drink 💕
The owner was busy with customers that day.
I decline and ask him to let me look in the cold storage.
There are many brands on the blackboard that I don't know, so I go take a peek.
What is this cute label?
This is Koshinohomare!
And it's a Kijoshu!
It has a strong sweetness (melon, chocolate)!
The customer next door asked what it was like!
Is it like a dessert sake?
Yes, just as you say!
There are still many things we don't know about this day, so let's attack!
J&N are also trying something they've never had before.
extensive knowledge
By using "90PINK" as part of the brewing water, the acidity tightens the overall flavor and creates a pleasant harmony.
The product name is derived from the initials "ki" of "kijoshu" and "90" respectively.

I bought it because it was labeled melon and chocolate and looked good, but I wasn't sure! I didn't like the alcohol taste at the end,,
The label is cute ◎
The label is fireworks, but not flashy. The smell is calm and nice.
When you drink it, it is delicious, sweet, sour, delicious, and bitter all at once.

Sweetness and acidity are central to the flavor, but there is a raw roughness. There is a bitter aftertaste.
Pairing with Ate
Edamame (soybeans) ◯++.
simmered dried tofu with deep-fried tofu
Grilled sweetfish with salt
Personal preference ★★★+☆☆☆☆
Honjozo type Polishing ratio: undisclosed
ALC 15 degrees, with alcohol
It is a dry sake that is crisp, clear, and easy to drink, and you will never get tired of drinking it.
Today's sashimi set meal (bonito, tuna, sea bream), it brings out the flavor of the sashimi and refreshes the aftertaste 😋.
