I happened to find it when I stopped by Tomiya Sake Shop and bought it immediately. It certainly had a wine-like feel, or perhaps a world of sake that I had not really experienced (and of course it was delicious). The price is fixed, so the cosmetics are great. The only difficulty is opening the cork.
It was sold as a set with Chabudai wine Merlot, so we can stock up on wine for drinking at home, which is rare in our house, and I am looking forward to drinking this one too!
Shochiku Bai Seven Premium Junmai Sake
I didn't have time to stop by the liquor store, so this was a packaged sake. It has a slightly mass-produced feel, but considering the price, it is quite good.
It betrays, in a good way, the classic quality that one imagines when one hears the name "Bodai yeast" from Oumachi. Slightly bubbly when the bottle is opened. Light and crisp. Delicious!
From Unfulfilled Production Areas - Toyama
Surprising that there is no purchase history of Toyama sake. This one has a classic feel as the label says. I'd like to try heating it up.
It is light nigori (lightly nigori) but heated. The concept of the store seems to be "deliciously spicy matured junmai sake" and "junmai heated sake", so nigori heated sake... let's give it a try!
Koji Kato From Unfulfilled Production Areas -Kanagawa
It's been a while since I've had Dewa Sanzan. I thought it might be a little too refreshing, but when I paired it with today's dinner of avocado salmon... it went really well.
The light green bottle was very beautiful and, most importantly, it was cheap (980 yen for a four-pack!)... so... it was a very cost-effective water. So... it is a very cost-effective water!
