At Isetan in Tokyo. I was caught by the super-limited sales pitch. I was surprised to find that the regular Ippongi is rather spicy (I am a sweet-tasting person, but I like spicy), but this one...it is certainly not sweet, but the aftertaste, the "bitter" feeling, which I wonder what it is...I like it very much!

Tasted and purchased during a brewery promotion at an electric railway department store in Tokyo. The tropical fruity aroma and rich flavor made it my favorite. It was consumed so quickly that the photo shows an empty bottle...lol. And the "Suiyu", which I was allowed to taste only because it was sold out, was even more to my liking...! I want to get it someday...!

At a local supermarket in Tokyo. I'm sorry to say that I thought it might be a souvenir sake, in a bad way, as it was brewed with rice produced in Hachioji! It was a little sweet at first, but refreshing, and the aftertaste was not too harsh for my liking! I looked it up and found out that while the ingredients are from Hachioji, it is brewed by Maihime from Suwa in Nagano. I also heard that they have hiyaoroshi (hiya-oshi), so as a resident of the Tama area, I will have to check it out...!

Purchased at Odakyu Department Store in Machida. The rice is polished to 91%...! The concentrated flavor is amazing...! The flavor is like an elegant Japanese candy. This is my favorite. Let's try other brands.

Secured at a nearby Ito-Yokado. Stable taste...! Thanks to the distribution power of Seven & i Holdings, even the stores in the countryside of Tokyo can display it...! I asked the AI at Sake-no-wa about Nanbu Bijin Junmai Ginjo, and he recommended Kido and Dewazakura, which I really like, so I will buy the recommended Amego no Tsuki as well..!

I had been avoiding Yamahai because of the image of it being somewhat "sour. After reading an article in "Mijoshi," a book I've been reading recently, about how "Kikuhime revived the Yamahai brewing process," I took a chance and found it on display at a local supermarket. It was so good! So this is what "mellow" tastes like...! This is a world of expansion...

Purchased in the basement of Odakyu Department Store in Machida. The wide selection of products and the frequent changes in the selection make every visit a pleasure. Among them, I chose this "Kifotsuru", which is delicious! This one is quite my favorite. It is fresh, fruity, and in a good way, has little alcohol content, and I drank 720ml of it in no time.

When I was out of sake stock, I went to a nearby supermarket and chose this sake, attracted by its mention of "super soft water brewing". Oh, my favorite! It has a refined sweetness and is soft on the palate. I enjoyed it easily. We should look carefully at the supermarket section.

A collaboration between a sake brewery in Kanagawa Prefecture and Odakyu Line. At an OX near a certain Odakyu Line station. https://www.odakyu.jp/news/d9gsqg0000001riw-att/d9gsqg0000001rj3.pdf I had a classical image of this sake, but it was overturned in a good way. It's nice to be able to try various brands from 1 sake.

Purchased at a 7-Eleven in Tokyo. In case you're interested, here's the official website: https://www.sej.co.jp/products/a/item/021470/ Seven-Eleven, please add some more information about the taste, etc... lol. I finished 300ml in no time with its clear taste, low sake level (I don't know the real sake level because it is not written on the bottle), and clean aftertaste. Delicious.

Purchased at a certain "Sakagami" supermarket where the sake on hand often hits my taste buds. The sound of "arabashiri" is already cool. It has a slight gassy feeling, but when I opened it, I didn't feel any gas, so was it my imagination? Maybe it was the stimulation on the palate that made me feel that way...it is very deep. And it is delicious.
