I had been avoiding Yamahai because of the image of it being somewhat "sour. After reading an article in "Mijoshi," a book I've been reading recently, about how "Kikuhime revived the Yamahai brewing process," I took a chance and found it on display at a local supermarket.
It was so good! So this is what "mellow" tastes like...! This is a world of expansion...
