I found it at a liquor store and opened the bottle immediately 😊. Last year's bottle was full of melon flavor from the moment I opened it, and when I drank it, I felt like what the heck is melon, but this time the aroma and taste are much more subdued. It is still delicious, but the impact is not as strong... I looked closer and found that last year's bottle was fresh, while this one was once-brewed, so maybe that's the difference? I'll have to buy the fresh one...

Memorandum ④ I think I drank at Shinomine last year on a trip to Kyoto, but I don't remember most of it because I was so exhausted from all the haggling... So this is almost my first time to drink Shinomine. It's softly sweet but crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink.

The last one is a pure NEWBORN ☺️ It is juicy, sweet and tasty with a little more volume. It is considered to have a very high cost performance. It is hard to say which is better than Jungin in terms of the championship that I want to have in the fridge, but perhaps because of my age, this volume tends to prevent me from drinking as much as I would like. So, we still prefer Jungin! On the other hand, the king of cospa in Akabu is Junmai because it is very satisfying in small quantities 😆.

For me, Akabu is... Junmai Ginjo NEWBORN 😁. Fresh, juicy, sweet and delicious! It tastes good no matter how many times you drink it (sincerity) I know I shouldn't use this as a standard, but I think it's my personal benchmark for good sake. It is a bottle that should always be in the fridge. I said it was a comparison, but I drank more than the others 😏.

Next up is another Junmai Daiginjo, a first for us. Apparently, the label has been changed this time, and the golden label looks richer! The rice polishing ratio is only 5% different from that of the Gokujo-no-Kazan we just drank, but the aroma is already different. However, the direction of the flavor is in the same direction as that of Gokujo-no-Kazan. Both are full of daiginjo-style umami, but this one has a slightly bitter aftertaste. By leaving a little satisfaction in the aftertaste, you can feel the story from the beginning to the end of the drink. Is the greatest show of Gokujo Nozan when you put it in your mouth? Both of them make me want to drink them quietly and leisurely, but the drinking comparison continues amidst the clamor of the crowd 😆. You may want to drink it as a gift or for celebratory occasions!

I had to take a break for about a week because of all the drinking I did during the New Year's Day 😂. Finally, I had a chance to compare my accumulated red wines! I had a lot of trouble deciding what order to drink them, but I decided to start with the ones I've never had before... I started with the most dignified one with a bottle of sake! The aroma is refreshing, but the mouthfeel is also clear and refreshing, just like the name "Gokujo No Zan". It has a sharp and smooth aftertaste with no hint of any unpleasant taste. The volume is not very strong, but you do not feel it is lacking, and after you hold it in your mouth, all the sounds around you will quickly disappear. I felt the depth of flavor in a very simple sensation. Unlike the image of Akabu up to now, this sake was sharpened and truly "cut".

Lastly, I was also attracted by the gorgeous label, so I went for the RoMan. I've had Loman several times, but there are many kinds of Loman, some are ten, some are seven, and some are many others. I don't know how many there are, but I have not had ZEROMAN yet! It's slightly sweet and fruity, with a bit of bitter acidity in the aftertaste. I can't remember what other Romans I've had. My memory is too vague... I guess I need to keep a proper record...

It has a calm atmosphere like a snowy winter, with a softly spread flavor that slowly and delicately finishes. It is a dry sake that has a simple taste but can still be savored, which is good for sipping sake little by little!

It's been a long time since I've seen this work. I remember ordering some of their works last year, but each time I was prevented by their recommendation that "this one is also available".... I saw my neighbor drinking Shinsei from one side to the other, so I opened the bottle and started the New Year's Shinsei myself! We enjoyed the sake together, wondering if it was really sake at all. I hope to drink steadily this year too! I'm looking forward to drinking it consistently this year 😆.

Yamamoto Nodo was recommended along with the rice wine! The eye-catching "Do" label makes a big impact on the pure white bottle 😁. The store was full and the proprietress seemed busy on her own, but after carefully opening the bottle... As I opened the bottle carefully.... It was a bit gassy, but it was lighter and drier than I had imagined! Although it has a fluffy sweet aroma of rice, the gap between the appearance and the taste makes it easy to drink, It is drinkable, but my companion drank more than half of it😓.

I visited Kotokosan on the last day of the year, but I saw the arrival of Tasake in front of me, so I dashed to the opening of the new year! We were almost fully booked, but we were able to squeeze in a table! I finally got the zodiac sign label of Tasake that I had been waiting for a week 😂. It's been a while since I've had Tasake, but it's very fresh and clearer than the Tokujun I had at Kotokosan! The labels are well made and it's fun just to look at the labels. Happy New Year 😊 I was wondering which one to start drinking in 2025, but I think I will start with the two hare zodiac labels that inspired me to start buying sake last year. I remember last New Year's when my fridge was still empty and I was drinking Sanuki Kuraudei because it was New Year's and I was in the mood for sake.................................. This year, there is enough sake in the fridge to make me wonder which one to drink, but I don't think I could have imagined that from last year. I remembered that Nitoto, which was delicious last year, was also a Manzai sake. It has been almost a year. It is very clear and easy to drink. I think that this was the first time I started drinking sake, and I was very lucky to have bought the label. I hope I can find good sake again this year 🤤.

It has a very clean and smooth taste with a hint of orikara. The sweetness and umami of the rice was well balanced and very tasty, although it had a thin line! While we were drinking, a delivery arrived and the zodiac label of Tasake was in stock, but the bottle will not be opened until next year, so we promised ourselves that we would visit the next store early next year.
