I can't help but buy it when I see the delicious looking grains of rice...but...! I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, but as the weather gets hotter, I seem to be drinking less and less. Last year, I saw some but didn't buy it because of the storage space. This year it was available and I succeeded in taking it home. 🙆‍♂️ It's a Omine sake, so I'm sure it's delicious! The slightly hazy haze gives it a cool feeling in this hot and humid weather. The aroma is very mild. The aroma is very mild, with elegant fruity notes such as muscat and pear. In the mouth, the first thing you notice is the full flavor of rice, which is typical of Yamada-Nishiki. ‼️ Elegant sweetness and a hint of acidity. This clear, clean feeling is exactly what you would expect from Omine. The bitterness that appears in the latter half of the bottle gives it a different atmosphere from the others. This is a good food sake 😋.

Last year I was able to drink but not buy ride's green 😥. This year they changed to Mizuchi, what do you think ‼️ The aroma is refreshing like fresh green apple ✨️ The mouthfeel is very light. Exactly green apple juice. No feeling of 5% alcohol. The apple-like sweet and sourness has the gentle sweetness of rice 😋. Last year I thought there was some kind of bubbly feeling, but this time not at all. The yellow one has a more squashy and gorgeous taste 😊. I thought this is a sake that people who are not good at sake should try 😄 It's a juice, so naturally it killed me in an instant 😓.

A liquor store that I frequent has newly started carrying it. I enjoyed the report on the liquor store's warehouse so much that I wanted to go there once 😁 I heard it is in the middle of a huge mountain... Of the 4 types they carry, I got the Gohyakumangoku Toku Jun and Yamada Nishiki Jun Dai ✨️ The concept is cool, from the naming to the label design! The name and design are memorable and particular at once. ‼️ Let's open the bottle of Tokujun first. The aroma is pineapple-like fruity and mild, with a hint of the full-bodied sweetness of rice. In the mouth, the first thing you notice is the smooth texture on the tongue. After that, the rice flavor that fills the mouth is impressive. It is not only sweet, but also has a perfect balance of firm umami and acidity that enhances it 😋. The aftertaste was a bit weak, probably because it was drunk chilled. It is onomatopoeic with "zaag zaag," but overall it has a high level of transparency and is clean yet moist. It is like Saara Saara 😙. I think I'm going to get hooked on it 😆.

This is my first Summer Gin ‼️ The aroma is very elegant, with a gentle ginjo aroma of melon and banana, with a hint of lactic acidity. The mouthfeel has a gentle sweetness from the rice and a broad spread, but it's not as thick as I expected, with a thin layer of summer sake and a silky texture typical of ogara-mi, perfect for summer drinking: ‼️ It's been very hot lately, so it's hard to drink a voluminous sake, but this one is so smooth and easy to drink that you won't get tired of it 😆. It's good to drink it chilled and sip it, or let it sit for a bit before tasting the mildness 😊.

I was attracted by the glittering label that suddenly caught my eye and took home a bottle of Hou no Mai, a fertility prayer festival! 😋 When poured into a glass, it has a fresh and sweet aroma reminiscent of apple-like fruitiness. As you take a sip, its rich sweetness fills your mouth. However, it is not just sweet. The complex umami of this noble sake is layered in layers, giving you a luxurious sensation as if you were drinking a fine dessert wine. The luxurious sweetness felt as soon as you take a sip does not last as long as expected, and turns into an aftertaste that makes you wonder 😲. The sweetness, which I find a bit too much for me to drink with a meal, is perfect for this hot time of the year when I drink it with a soda! It's so casual that you'd think it was a sangria, perfect for an aperitif or a midday drink 😁.

The first drink after two weeks of sobriety is Mizuchi Ki Junmai Happoshu, which was rebranded Mizuchi this year. ‼️ Last year it was served as a ride, but the last peach I had in the spring was served as Mizuchi 😲. Somehow, from the flavor taste, I was comfortable with the POP look of RIDE in terms of the label, The new label seems to have a more subdued feel and will be generally accepted. When you open the cork, the delicate bubbles that only a secondary fermentation in the bottle can produce rise in the glass, and from the look of it, expectations are high ✨. The first thing you notice when you take a sip is the gentle sweetness derived from the rice and the refreshing acidity that complements it. The bubbles are fine and very smooth on the palate. It is neither too strong nor too weak, and leaves a pleasant sensation on the tongue. The aftertaste is clean and crisp, with no sense of heaviness. It has the fullness and lightness typical of Japanese sake, It is very easy to drink. The moment I drank it, memories of the first time I drank it last year came back to me 😃. It's perfect for casual drinking in the hot days ahead. I also bought the green and blue ones that I couldn't get last year because of the free shipping on Gobashi's website! I look forward to comparing the drinks 😋.

The last one is the first Nakataya Hira. In contrast to the previous two, this one has a distinct presence of clear sweetness 😆. It is not too sweet or clingy, but the citrus-like acidity in the second half refreshes the palate. The soft and fine texture of the sake gives you the feeling that you've had a drink ✨. Maybe it's pretty well balanced 🤔.

Followed by a ten stone summer ginjo 😃. It's been a long time since I've had Juuseki. I wonder when was the last time I drank it 🤔. The summery fireworks label intrigues me, but when I drink it, it's not that glamorous. It makes me want to drink it quietly and gracefully while watching fireworks 😑. It is sharp and has a thin line, but you can feel the true feeling and it closes with one point of acidity to make it short and tight.

Well, I have some time before the meeting, so let's compare drinks again. First time for me to drink a special junmai from Uguisu in the garden. The aroma has a slight floral nuance. One of the items we visited last month at Sakelabo Tokyo, but were prevented by the time limit 😂. I didn't expect to see it in my hometown, so I was the first to order it 😁. I was told that it was made in the US, so I guess it is suitable for the people over there. It has the appearance of a sake without the so-called classicness, but is much milder. It has a light mouthfeel with a thin spread of sweetness. Overall, it is easy to drink, but it gives a vague impression. I would drink it by itself with a lot of energy, or with something to accompany it. I would prefer it to be more voluminous, but I would like to try the other two.

Next to the Kabutomushi, there was another cool and gorgeous bottle, so I asked for it. It is Mikumari of Houou Mita! I remember how surprised I was when I drank it for the first time last year. It has a smooth texture that melts in the mouth, and the clear acidity tightens up the whole experience ✨. It has been a little while since I opened my mouth, so I don't have the shwashy feeling I had last year. This reduces the enjoyment of the first touch, but thanks to the lightness of the flavor, I could feel more of the flavor. The beer is very smooth and the gasiness is very nice. Would you buy this one too? 😂.

Unfortunately, the first time we did this, we were already sold out and couldn't get the Kabutomushi 😖. Then, I decided to go with Kotoko! I don't feel the summer heat yet, but the design makes me excited for summer. When I take a sip, the first thing I feel is its lightness. The low alcohol content makes it easy to drink, and it goes down your throat with ease. Last year, I thought I felt more acidity, but this year, the acidity seems to be a little less pronounced, which makes it easier to drink. ⤴️ It is not only light, but has a perfect balance between the umami that spreads slowly in the mouth and the tight acidity that supports it. The sweetness is moderate and refreshing, perfect for summer ✨. It has a refreshing aftertaste and can be enjoyed with many cups even on a hot day. Hmmm... Should I capture it after all?

Since there was a little time between the release date, we also opened a bottle of Sake Mirai, which we couldn't make it to the previous AKABU drinking contest 😆. The moment the cork is opened, the slight feeling of gas builds up the anticipation. When poured into a glass, a sweet and gorgeous aroma like white peaches spreads softly 😍. In the mouth, fresh and juicy sweetness spreads and at the same time there is a clear acidity that makes it squeaky clean. With the youthfulness typical of new sake and a softly lingering aftertaste, you will never get tired of drinking it 😊.

We secretly opened a bottle of Eikou Fuji that was brought to the party the other night 😄. It was chilled in the fridge and when I poured it into a glass, it had a gorgeous aroma. ✨️ The fruity and juicy sweetness is more than you can imagine. The Bunraku I had the other day was quite good, but this one has an even thicker line! There are tropical nuances like pineapple and melon, but the aftertaste is surprisingly refreshing. And I had no idea that "Morino Kumasan" was the name of rice... 😲.

The last of the production area is Yamada-Nishiki in two different breweries 😚. If I had it, I would have tried to have it in a four-no brew of Yamadanishiki, but the only other Yamadanishiki available was a mixed brew with Ni-, Roku, and Hozu, so I tried to have it in the month of production 😂. Finally, the usual Ni-no-no-no-nozo. What a relief! When drinking only Yamadanishiki, it is as if you are drinking champagne, but when you compare them, you can feel the fullness of sweetness and the thickness of the line more than other rice 😌. It is mundane in a good way. This exquisite volume, the bitterness of the last, and the slight lactic acidity of this structure that doesn't make you think of the price are amazing😍.

Next up is HOMASU's Shi-No-Brewery😋. Every time I open a bottle of Hozu, I want to peel off the sticker, but I've never succeeded. I thought I opened the bottle carefully, but the cork flew out with a pop 🌠. Compared to the Kako, the aroma is more subdued and the chouxiness is a little more pronounced. The sweetness and bitterness are clear from start to finish. It is very elegant and well put together. I had an image that it was more wild, but I felt it was very cool 😏. Also, when I drank it a few days later, I found that although the schwarziness was a little less, it was still enough to be felt in the mouth, and the sweetness was much more pronounced. The sharp impression was moderately full and gentle. ☺️

I'm going to compare the sanshu that I couldn't open for some reason: ☺️ I'll start with Kako's Four Farmers Brewery! It's been about two months since I drank it in Hakata. So, I had some Bunraku which was given to me by a friend of mine. It's been a while since I've had Bunraku-san, but the sweetness and flavor at the moment of drinking is violent, not unlike the label 😁. I couldn't help but say "sweet", perhaps because the comparison I just drank was with Kaze no Mori. It is voluptuous and drinkable, and the aftertaste is not that strong, so there is a good sense of having drunk it. I had an image of it being more relaxed, but I felt a nice gap 😚.

Long time no see Wind Forest 😋. I saw petit for the first time and I am taking it home. The bottle is cool and sleek. ✨️ The amount of 375ml is just right for drinking up. I didn't feel the piquancy after opening my mouth as much as I thought I would. The complexity that makes you think "Oh, it's Wind Forest" at the moment of drinking is also quite soft. The sweetness and umami can be felt honestly and smoothly, and then the acidity and bitterness are there 😊. With this size and this mouthfeel, you will finish it in no time, so it is good to be able to complete it while it is still fresh. I don't buy many cups or small amounts of alcohol, but I felt the concept was different from that one.
