After agonizing over junmai ginjo Yuyama or Aizan, I chose Aizan. It was juicy, sweet and delicious. Toyo Bijin + Aizan, so it had to be good. Next time, I want to try Omachi.
My mother-in-law, who does not drink sake, unexpectedly brought me a gift of Kinjaku Daiginjo!
She said she bought it because the store owner recommended it as a rare sake. I was too happy!
It tasted like pineapple with a fruity aroma and an elegant, dense sweetness like honey. It was a beautiful sake✨.
On a camping trip to Shiso, I stopped by Sanyo Hai Sake Brewery and purchased a store limited edition sake and a boar cup.
The taste is refreshingly sweet and silky, just as the label says. It is in the modern seasonal sake lineage of Banshu Isshu Ikkyo, which I quite like.
We chibi-chibi'd it over a bonfire. 🏕️
I received this as a Saga souvenir from a neighbor.
It is 39% polished rice and has a clear yet umami taste. It has a nice sharpness and was a perfect match for the sashimi of Japanese horseradish.
Purchased on the way back from a camping trip to Nose. It is a very heavy sake, but since it was well chilled, it was easy to drink and empty right away.
The design of the cup is cute and I will not throw it away but use it for everyday use 🦌.
The taste is so clean and free of clutter that it is hard to believe that it is 80% polished.
It has the sweetness typical of Aizan, a tangy gasiness, a slight sourness, and bitterness in the aftertaste. It is a bottle filled with the good points of Kaze no Mori.
After a long overseas business trip, I went to Mimurosugi, a standard!
This season, too, I got summer jun. It has a refreshing taste that is typical of early summer. It tastes just like Mimuro Sugi's image and is delicious. 🏝️
Shizenigo has been a spring limited edition for a long time. It has a melon-like fruity aroma and a sweet, clear taste. It also has umami and bitterness, and can be paired with meals.
Koei Chrysanthemum after a long time!
Green apple and lime-like greenish fruity taste: 🍋🟩
Fresh impression with a strong sense of gas 🌿.
Good balance of sweetness, sourness and bitterness.
Easy to drink with low alcohol and will be gone soon.
Sake brewed in wooden vats on a dare in this day and age. I had thought that the use of wooden vats was for romantic or storytelling reasons, but this one certainly has a wooden nuance! I have a feeling.
A light, easy-drinking mellow sake. Delicious!
It has a gassy, grape-like aroma, and a smooth but mild yogurt-like flavor. The price was 2,200 yen for a bottle. I had heard that it was delicious, but it was even better than I had imagined. I am glad that it can be stored at room temperature. It will be a regular sake for me!
Stable Sharaku. Sharaku Junmai and Caprese is my personal best pairing🍅🧀🍃🍶.
Sharaku Junmai is so good and satisfying that I have never had anything other than Junmai lol
White grape-like aroma. The Tokiwa label Kameguchiri I drank before was quite sweet, but this one is moderate and elegantly sweet. It is juicy and crisp, and may be more my type of sake!
Easy to drink and you will finish the bottle in no time 🍶.
