I bought this Akatombo at Kado-Yasan in October. I kept it in a safe place, but I opened a bottle today. It's really good! It's sweet all the time while rolling it around in your mouth, but when you finish it, the sourness stands out and you can feel some bitterness at the end. It's a taste I like.

It's not Sentori, it's Wakanami Red Dragonfly 🍁. I drank it last year and was surprised that it looks so cool but it's so modern on the inside 😳 First at room temperature. The aroma is soft sweet rice, and some rummy notes. When you drink it, you can feel the slight chilli, citrus, and rummy sweetness. It is sweet and acidic, but at the same time, it has a nice sharpness and a pleasant tingling sensation as it goes down your throat, and the alcohol gives you a nice warm feeling. When chilled, it has a refreshing sweet and sour white peach flavor! It's a fall sake, so it's good at room temperature, but I think this flavor is better served chilled. Wakanami really tastes good no matter which way you drink it!

Post-birthday celebration, a small restaurant in Joetsu City (2). It was the first brand I had ever seen! I thought it was a new brand, but it was a different brand produced by Wakanami brewery in Fukuoka. I ordered it thinking it would be somewhat light, but it had a slightly fruity sweetness and rice flavor with a light aftertaste. It is easy to drink and delicious. It betrayed my imagination in a good way. I would like to try Wakanami as well, since I have not had it yet.

It was so good that I bought a bottle. The last time I drank it, I drank it with a cup of sake, and this time I drank it with a thin glass. When I drank it in a thin glass, the aroma and sweetness seemed to increase, and it was like a white wine. The aftertaste is delicious, with a hint of ginjo.

I had been curious about this sake for a long time! Is it the same as Wakanami by the same sake brewer that goes from sweetness to acidity and finishes with a sharp taste? The difference is that I strongly felt the umami of the rice. It was delicious!

I procured this sake in Fukuoka last month. I had had Wakanami sake from Wakanami Shuzo at a kaku-uchi (corner bar) in Fukuoka before, but this was my first time to try their Dragonfly series. Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 16%. The aroma is mild and the taste is full of rice flavor. There is a hint of sweetness, which is then tightened by a firm acidity, but it is also spicy. It's delicious. Delicious 😊. I had it with oden, and both the sake and oden went down a treat 🍢. Of course, sake alone is good too👍
