I went to Yamamoto Sake Brewery on a trip to Akita. I bought it at the cafe next door. They said it is only available at the cafe 😁. The moment I cooled it down and opened the bottle, it had a sweet and sour aroma👍. It is said to be ethyl caproate-based, but it is definitely apple-based. Not too sweet, but not too sour and smooth 🍶. It is a very good sake that is not easy to drink.

The check-in 100th anniversary is Jyushiyo. From the glass, it has an upfront aroma reminiscent of muscat. The mouthfeel is refreshing with a firm umami flavor. The clear sweetness spreads in the mouth. It is not easy to drink, so we enjoyed it carefully.
