A gift from my son. Aroma is little bit spicy, a little bit hot, clear, and easy to drink.
After 5 days, it mellows out a bit and the taste remains the same. I never get tired of it!
We enjoyed it very much.
Purchased at SAKE Kurafan. It has a shwashiness like nama-shu, and although the aroma is weak, it is refreshing and easy to drink. It is a sake for summer. We enjoyed it very much.
Purchased at Sake no Kagimoto. The aroma is strong and fruity. The taste is strong, but not heavy and easy to drink. It is a little different from Hourai made by the same Watanabe Shuzo. It is also a delicious sake. There will be a repeat purchase.
The second glass was a Daishinshu. The label says it is super dry, but it is not as dry as I thought it would be, and it has a good umami flavor and is easy to drink. Even I, a lover of umami-guchi, enjoyed it.
It's been a while since I've had a drink with a group of volunteers. The first drink was Nabeshima. This is the first time for me to drink a Summer Moon, but it is refreshing, aromatic, and easy to drink, just like a summer sake. The balance is perfect. We enjoyed it with tai-chiri-nabe (sea bream stew).
Hirotogawa I wanted to drink. I found it at Kagimoto-san and bought it. The aroma is subdued, but the rice flavor and aftertaste are crisp and simply delicious. I couldn't stop drinking it. I had it with grilled saury and zuke.
It has been a long time since I have tasted Kido. The aroma is good and the delicious taste of rice spreads in the mouth. It is well-balanced with a delicious mouthfeel, and it finishes crisp and clear as it passes down the throat. Kido is still delicious.
A gift from my son. I like it. This sake is limited to Ise. The aroma is gorgeous and the taste is a little sweet. It has a sour taste and finishes well. Saku is delicious no matter what you drink.
I had it with zuke.
Brought it to a play date with my daughter and son's family at an old house they rented. The aroma reminds me of muscat and lychee, and the taste is well-balanced on the palate. It goes down the throat very smoothly. As expected of Tobiroki. It's so good! We all enjoyed it together and finished it in no time.
I went to Shiga Prefecture to visit a sake brewery and bought this sake because it had a nice aroma. When you put it in your mouth, the delicious taste of rice spreads. It is full-bodied, but crisp and dry. It is delicious.
Tasted it at Sakesp and enjoyed it so much I took it home. It was green apple-like and full-bodied. It has a nice crispness to it with a good rice flavor. We enjoyed it again today.
The third glass is Shinomine. It too was full and pleasant on the palate. It has a bit of bitterness at the end, but it went down my throat with a smooth finish.
Thank you, Master, for choosing my favorite sake. The food was delicious and there were plenty of drinks to choose from.
The second drink was Nabeshima. Nabeshima is delicious after all! It is juicy, fruity, and has a refreshing aftertaste. I could drink as many cups as I wanted. The side dish was boiled kintoki herb (I had never had it before).
A group of sake lovers got together for a drink and went to a sake bar in Honmachi. The menu included a three-sake comparison, so I asked the master for the first glass of Takachiyo. The hiragana version was sweet and fruity, the kanji version was spicy (not as spicy as I expected), and the romaji version was in-between. They are all delicious. My favorite was the middle one with roma characters.
Purchased at a product exhibition in Hankyu Umeda Station. It is served cold. The aroma is not so strong, but when you put it in your mouth, the aroma of rice fills your mouth. Later on, it tasted a little bitter, but when it passed through the throat, it went down smoothly. I did not feel any bitterness in the second sip. This is good, isn't it?
I had it with hand-rolled sushi, and it went really well with rice.
This sake was given to me in a souvenir bottle at a sakesp in Kyoto. I wanted to have another sip of Okutanba when it was available, so I chose this sake from the refrigerator.
It was easy to drink with a good flavor and aroma. A little spiciness came later and it was very refreshing. It is delicious! I wish I had bought a four-pack bottle.
Hi Kyuzo 😊✨You went to Sakesp 😄had a great time 😄✨.
Hourai is delicious 😄I tasted the commemorative sake at the store that day and it was so good I brought it home in a souvenir bottle 😄✨
It's been a while since I've had a drink at Yumiya with good friends. It is a sweet, fruity and easy to drink sake. It has a nice aroma and a strong sake flavor. It is delicious.
Today we had hamo (pike conger) sukiyaki, which is in season right now. The food and sake were both delicious!
Hatsu Nojoho. It is supposed to be served cold or lukewarm, so I started with it at room temperature. The aroma was light and heavy, with a slight bitterness and an alcoholic smell. We then tried it warmed. The smell of alcohol was gone, and the rice aroma and bitterness went down your throat nicely.
The next day, we served it cold. It became easier to drink, but it was still very heavy and sharp. In my opinion, it is best served warmed. It is a sake I would rather drink over a long period of time than as a food sake.
Purchased at Ward's Sake Shop. It has been a long time since I have had a Bon. The aroma that fills your mouth when you take a sip is very nice. It is easy to drink with a delicious flavor and it finishes well. Bon is delicious after all.
Today we had it with seared sea bream we found at a fish shop. Both were delicious.
Purchased at Imanaka Sake Shop. The aroma is subdued, but the flavor of rice spreads in the mouth, giving it a full flavor. The bitterness is a little bit annoying, but it has a nice sharpness and goes down your throat easily. It is delicious. I think I will try the modern version next time.
