This is the first time I've had it. It has a rich, full-bodied, wine-like depth and flavor, and since it seems to be a mix of yeast No. 1 to No. 6, it has a unique and delicious flavor with a hint of rice and fruit.
Enjoy it with other local sake at Nakatsugawa, Gifu. Stable Hirotogawa, well-balanced and rich in flavor, makes food taste delicious. Fire-brewed, or perhaps undiluted?
This sake is made from the original Hachikan Nishiki variety, Hachikan Grass. Three days after opening, it is still young, but it has a gorgeous, almost banana-like aroma and taste. The low alcohol content makes it easy to drink and delicious on its own. The owner's story is good.
