Happy New Year! The first sake of the new year is ZAO, which I obtained on a business trip to Tohoku last year. I bought it at a specialty store in Sendai station. It seems to be quite a rare sake even in the local area. The first taste is banana, followed by pineapple nuance. Then it has a full-bodied taste with a hint of sweetness. I like it very much.

About 1,200 yen at Donki. I found this at Donki when I stopped by to kill some time before a year-end party. I had never tasted Tottori sake before...and it was cheap, so I bought it immediately. It was a Junmai Daiginjo, and it was very gorgeous. It's been about a year since I started using the app, and at the end of the year, the map of Honshu has been filled in. ☺️ Next year I will conquer Kyushu and Okinawa✋.

A bottle of No. 4 at Shin-Osaka Central Life for about 1,300 yen. It is moderately mellow, with a hint of acidity and umami. Kobe Shushinkan's sake is generally of a high level. Let's visit the brewery next time 😃.

I will receive this year's hometown tax payment. This is the first sake produced in Ibaraki Prefecture. It has a ginjo aroma, but it is also quite pleasant to drink. I love the slightly sweet flavor. I loved it. I will drink it again... ☺️

About 1700 yen for a four-pack at Heiwado. It is my favorite mellow, slightly sweet and delicious type. I love it! As I have written many times, including the aforementioned Hokusenji, Shiga sake and my tastes are in perfect harmony. They are always in the strike zone. It will be a good night of travel.

A four-pack of sake was sold for 1,540 yen at Hirai Shoten's directly-managed store. We visited the Lake Biwa Hotel on one of our irregular visits, having been informed that Hirai Shoten's main store was nearby. I chose this one in front of a myriad of beautiful sake. The harmony of umami and bitterness. It has a sharp aftertaste. It is also habitually delicious. It is the best.

Shin-Osaka Central Life, about 1,300 yen for a No. 4 bottle. Buy the bottle, not the packet. FUKUI is also sold in summer in a beautiful bottle decorated with fireworks. It tastes light, but has a nice umami. Let's enjoy the silver week 🎵.
