The Suwa Mikotsuru Sake Brewery 🍶 is located in Shimosuwa-machi, Suwa, Nagano Prefecture. There are five breweries in Kami-Suwa, including Masumi, Honkin, Yokobue, Reijin, and Maihime, but only one, Mikotsuru, is located in Shimo-Suwa, one neighborhood away. The only sake brewery in Suwa is Mikotsuru, and they are doing their best. The sake is crisp, refreshing, and watery, as only sake from Suwa can be. Sake from the Wadaryu Sake Brewery located in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. Junmai dry sake in a simple design bottle. It was a nice, crisp, dry sake. The "DELICIOUS SAKE" written on the lid is a strategy to target inbound customers, right? Suppin Taichi Quite a unique name. It is a winter-only sake from the Honkin Shuzo brewery in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture. Honjozo unfiltered raw sake with a good aroma and a heavy body. It has become a great favorite. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🌓 Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 18%.

In October 2024, I got this bottle at the brewery "Taisetsukei Shuzo" located in Ikeda-cho, Kitaazumi-gun, Nagano Prefecture. I drank a special junmai nama sake. It was full-bodied, refreshing, and super easy to drink. 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Alcohol content 17%.  Ingredients: Rice (Nagano Prefecture)      Rice Koji (Nagano rice)  Rice polishing ratio 58  Producer: Daisetsuei Shuzo Co.

Hare Gicchu, the language of flowers, "charm." The sake was as charming as the language of flowers. I drank it chilled at first, and then lukewarm. We drank Masumi Sanka Junmai Daiginjo to go with our Hakata Zoni (Hakata Zoni with many ingredients: bonito flakes, yellowtail, chicken, bamboo shoots, kamaboko, shiitake mushroom, carrot, baked tofu, round rice cake, sago soup). It was refreshing and clean and the best friend 🌟🌟⭐️🌟🤩.

Sake from Noto, Hokuriku! Manufactured in July 2023. Not sure if the brewery is still producing it this year due to the earthquake and flooding in Noto. It is rich and easy to drink. Daishichi Junmai Namaishimo CLASSIC It has been a long time since I have had this sake lukewarm since the weather has cooled down. Junmai Ginjyo Dai-harakuchi Mitsui no Kotobuki 14 The label looks like the number on a professional baseball uniform. Slightly effervescent, with a stimulating mouthfeel. But very easy to drink, a great pairing for oden. It was an unexpected home run. ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

When I was in Matsumoto the other day, a volunteer at Matsumoto Castle tourist information told me about Daisetsukei. He said it is the best local sake 🍶 and can be served every day from cold to hot ⭐️★★. I immediately drank it cold and found it to be a super easy-drinking, non-habit-forming sake. ❤️❤️❤️
