It is a clear, umami-guchi type sake with a cool, refreshing taste. A water purification system using Shindai crystal is used.

Monsoon with an attractive label. Somehow I have the impression that Tamakae is not my favorite, but I bought it because sake really varies and I can't decide what I like or dislike based on a little experience. It is more refreshing than the previous Monsoon I drank. It's not as cloudy, so it's less kijoshu-like, but I personally prefer it. It has none of the bitterness or old dryness that I have come to associate with Tamakae. I guess the taste of sake can be completely different depending on what characteristics of the rice are brought out and how and where the sake is made. Monsoon is a sake I would like to drink regularly.

This sake is limited to two liquor stores, one in Sakai and the other in Kishiwada. Only 12 bottles are in stock, so the next time I come back, there won't be any left, so I was allowed to try a special sample before purchasing. It has a rather gorgeous ginjo aroma. It has a low alcohol content and is sweet with a gentle taste. It is low in alcohol, but you can feel the fullness of the flavor. It has no gaseous feeling, but it is fresh. It can be used by itself or with food. Shimada Special is delicious no matter what you drink.

The second glass was Hiwada, a pure rice with a fresh herbal base, Autumn up. Hiwada is a brand new to me. It is a bit more umami than Onumaya, with a rich flavor. But it has a dry, swishy feel. It was a souvenir for myself when I stopped by Ise Jingu Shrine. I thought I hadn't had nigori sake recently, so I chose something that looked easy to drink. I had it after cooling it down thoroughly. It is sweet and easy to drink, almost as if you are already drinking amazake. It might be a good idea to drink it as a dessert-like ending to a meal.

My wife posted this first😅. When we went on a trip to Ise, I tasted it at the brewery and it was so good that I immediately pre-ordered it 😊. It arrived refrigerated and I opened it right away. The aroma was good and my expectations were high! It is refreshing on the palate, with a fruity aroma escaping through the nose.
